I like small bags and find this bag a little tight and awkward. I have to put things in differently than I would other bags to make it fit right. I like how it looks so I kept it but it isn’t a bag I want multiples of. Your phone probably would not fit in the front or back slip pocket. I have one of the small IPhones so it fits in the front slip pocket but larger ones would not. It would have to go in a main pocket. A full size wallet would be tight but probably fit. I just think with all of your nice bags and the space you like to have this might not be the best choice.
I need to run all of my possible purchases through you! You are always the voice of reason! I think you have successfully talked me out of it! I really wish they would put that pretty metal tea rose turnlock on a larger bag. It is what grabbed my attention towards the parker to begin with. I bought the small metallic smoke mailbox over a month ago. While I love it, it definitely has filled any pretty small bag hole I had so I should really skip the parker I think.

I agree that the tea rose turnlock is pretty. I wanted that Parker but bought one that cost less and am happy with that decision based on budget reasons. They will probably use it on something else so it might be best to wait it out. The mailbox at least lets you put items in an open space which helps with smaller bags. While I can handle the Mercer’s various pockets with the Parker they are just simply more awkward. Funny enough the Mercer is probably smaller but it just feels easier than the Parker for me.

I just came home and opened my brand new parker bag....I only took out the stuff tissues inside of bag and the top flap leather got crease immediately.... see pictures...is it normal? I haven’t use it at all...

Yes those are the normal creases you will get after just opening the flap a few times. I am sure the bag had been opened by others at some point starting the creases. What happens is you open the flap all of the way back to get in the bag sometimes and it doesn't take long for the creases to start. So if they bother you, I wouldn't keep the bag, but if you are okay with them, it is normal.

I just got the Parker and my Note 8 phone fits in the front and the back pocket with a normal case on.

I received my tea rose Parker a couple of days ago. Item on the Canadian website said backordered and will ship May 19 but it got here way before anyway!

I’m a little concerned about how the flap will hold up with single strap wear (how I intend to wear it 95% of the time) as the leather seems a bit flimsy and fragile and doesn’t keep its shape like the CHANEL flaps...

Regardless, beautiful bag [emoji173]️

I do hope they'll address this in the future with a higher end iteration of this bag, but I believe it is the way it is to serve a lower price point. Regardless you get the functuionality of having that extra light weight for a medium sized bag so there are a number of pros.

Beautiful bag btw! Parkers are really quite striking.

I thought about the Parker a lot because it seemed like a good size, and I loved the chain. But my phone won't fit in the back slot (Samsung note), at least from what I read here. I really like that tea rose turnlock a lot, though. I tried the Bowery with that tea rose, and it was too small as well. Guess it's not meant to be!

I actually saw a video on youtube where someone showed that their samsung note 8 fits in the pocket. I have an iphone X and that definitely fits. It is around the 9 min mark.
