This might seem weird, but maybe you can buy a used one from Fashionphile with really dark vachetta for less (800 bucks or so) and then take it to LV to get the vachetta replaced. As long as there are no cracks they should be able to provide the service for a cost (maybe some others can chime in on the process). I’ve seen Noes look brand new after getting the vachetta replaced. Of course, this is not the easiest route. But if you can’t get your hands on a new one and gently used ones don’t have much of a discount, perhaps you could give this a try? Also, if you’re deciding between the petit Noe and Noe, I think the petite is more versatile than the Noe. It can still hold a ton. The Noe on the other hand is huge and I feel like it could easily wear overwhelm you if your petite to average in height .

This is a pretty cool idea! I have no idea how to go about doing it though, but I’ve seen people do it in this thread with great results. Does LV do this themselves or are there other companies that do? And for cost, I assumed it was about the same as buying a new bag! If not this is definitely an option. Thanks!

LV will do this for you if what you get from fashionphile is authentic and has no canvas cracks. It’s also a good way to get a free authentication. I’ve never done it myself, but there’s a thread of repair costs for LV. It’s def not as much as a brand new bag. Maybe you could ask in there? https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/repair-costs-list.262384/page-175

Unless you get a smoking deal on a preloved one with leather issues, by the time you pay to redo the leather, it ends up being the same as just buying a new one.

Well that went smoothly! I didn't have time to call LV or Nordstrom today but I've been checking the website every day with low expectations. Randomly checked now before going to bed and they have it!! Got one with lightning speed. I did not anticipate snagging one so fast, I'm so happy!

They're still available if anyone else is tempted!

Edit: Aaaand out of stock again. Holy smokes, looks like I checked at the right time.

I would be careful. Some LV stored want to see receipts etc.

For people who have the canvas Noe bags, does the print align perfectly along the side of the bag? Mine is off by a tiny bit, but I don’t think it’s enough to keep me from keeping it. But I wanted to know if this is a common issue. TIA!

Hi there,
my monogram Noe looks pretty accurate, the Azur seems a tiny bit off. I never noticed that until now :giggle: Noe is one of my most favorite bags.
Do you have a pic of yours ?

Hi! Yes, I just took a picture. Tbh I feel a little silly for posting it, since it’s kind of minor. I wanted to give the bag one last look over before using it and I noticed this small misalignment. It’s most noticeable in the pic, but even then it’s not particularly obvious. I think I just need someone to tell me to chill out and enjoy the bag.

Not silly at all: Let me tell you to chill!:drinks:
When I take a close up, mine also looks a little bit to the right. Normal :flowers: I never looked at it this closely. Never bothered!
Enjoy your bag! It’s beautiful! :heart:1635588747241.jpeg

I say that in the nicest of ways :giggle: I didn't pull mine out to double check because it would not bother me. I check for things that are glaringly obvious (defects) when I receive my bags, whether at home or in store. People seeing you out with this bag would not even notice as they'd have to get really close to your bag to examine it and even then, most people would not notice it. However, if it bothers you, then you should return it. Just know that if that bothers you, they all will (and other LV models have had more wrong with them than this):oh:

Just an FYI, I brought my Noe into LV to get the full vachetta replaced (still at repairs right now), and they didn't ask me for receipts or anything. I just gave them my Noe and dropped it off, and I purchased my Noe from eBay several years ago.
I really think it depends who the SA is. I heard many cases where they were rejected. Good that you are not one of them
