Just got my medium boy in caviar leather and ruthenium hardware. I don’t know if I want to keep it or not.

Yup. Will be returning the bag tomorrow via mail and give it another try for a new bag the store should be receiving soon that they will ship directly to me. Hoping the next one will be perfect.
Hi there! New to posting; but have a friend who is headed to Paris and I really want to take the plunge on the new medium boy bag-- caviar with black hardware. I live in the US-- has anyone gone recently and have a general idea of what the ultimate cost difference would be after VAT, etc. The purchase would be made in Paris. Also trying to figure out the best way to see what color options they may have out in gold hardware right now-- so any suggestions on how to figure that out would be appreciated too! Thanks in advance for any insights!!

Here’s my 20p chevron boy. So happy to finally have a boy bag in my collection[emoji173]️
Is this boy bag really shiny - My SA Santa pic in their bright light and it looked REALLY SHINY but is it in regular light?? Also she said it was bright silver.- but the picture looks champagne gold?
Posted in another thread already but here's my boy. 17P caviar black RHW.

Thanks soIt is pretty shiny, like they put another extra coat on it. It’s definitely glossier than the caviar classic flap I have but I love it! This bag made my classic clap look dull.
the hardware is shiny silver, depending on the lighting it could look a bit light gold.
Thanks so much I was going to get the ruthenium hardware but I think it is too casual - really like the shiny caviar with eh shiny silver as it takes some of the edginess out of the boy - do you find it too dressy though?? Does it look ok casually? Thanks so

Thanks - I really like the shiny silver and a SA who has one (will have to be sent to me) agrees that it is not that sparkly in regular light. I did try one on with the ruthenium but the ruthenium made the bag dull to this one and definitely looked more casual. A Chanel bag is so expensive that when I am buying one I over think my decision so much!!!!
