Hi Yi! So sorry for the delayed reply. my bag is surprisingly super duper durable... few days ago I dropped my bag on hard rocky cement ground (yes i'm super clumsy ;D) and i was like ohhhh crap i don't want to look at the bag.... surprisingly there were almost no damages! well i wouldn't even call the "damage" on my bag is an actual damage... my bag did not chip one bit... the only thing is that the iridescent coating or the top coat of the bag got scraped off... but after applying leather conditioner my bag was back to normal again! I'm so happy i kept the bag because i was really having the biggest doubts... thanks to the hard fall accident... now i can officially say this bag is really durable :) I hope i didn't reply too late and that you have decided to purchase the bag :)

I'm super glad to hear you say that. Considering the bag is so new, I'm very curious how durable it is. As you're using it, please feel free to share with us your thoughts.
I just ordered mine, but will be out of town so I won't get to get my hands on it until about a month or so. In the mean time, I'm so anxious.

This is just too beautiful to resist. I would give up a black to get this purple iridescent mermaid boy even though the colour is seasonal! Congrats!!!

Thank you! Still in love and need to find more occasions to carry the mermaid. Even my fiancé who usually hates the boy on me as well is totally in love and I've caught him inspecting the bag and hardware because he was so fascinated :D

I purchased in SG.. I was hesitant to get this as the shiny pebbles seems to peel easily.. but the structure is firm and the bottom is not slugging which I prefer.. crossing my fingers it will wear well :angel:

Hi Ladies! I was able to make arrangement to pick up the bag earlier, so here are some pics of the new chevron boy. There have been discussions on how shiny the new chevron boy is, so I've included comparison pics between the classic medium and the chevron boy as well. I'm curious as to how the new chevron boy is compared to the chevron minis and wocs, so if you comparison pics of them, please feel free to share. Prior to taking the comparison pics, my initial thought was that the chevron boy was glossy. However, the boy seems to look less glossy in picture than In person and the glossiness is slightly out of my comfort zone. The chevron caviar with rhw is the combo I've been waiting for though so I'm not sure whether I should keep it. I bought the chevron boy and I didn't think it looked extra shiny or glossy. I don't have another caviar bag to compare with but I compared with my caviar wallet and cardholder bought in May 2017, the chevron boy actually isn't as shiny as my SLGs.
