I know this wasn't for me but the CCs are very subtle. It's the shape and gloss of the bag that gets the most stares IMHO. I've only worn the cerf a handful of times but only once did someone squint at the bag to see the hardware.

A real Chanel aficianado will know it's Chanel! The others, eh, don't worry about 'em!

The interior pouch is removable. It snaps to each side of the bag. I don't use mine at all.

Just curious as Lucas sent me some pics. Perhaps the Executive is the same style but larger? Thanks ladies!

Yes, the Executive is the newer version of the Cerf, but not larger, I think. The old Cerf has 2 magnetic snap closures on top and the Executive has the strap thingy in the middle.

Yes, I believe they are the same and Chanel renamed it when changing the closure from magnetic snaps to magnetic tab. I have the new version in dark brown and it is the same size and shape as the old version. The only difference I can visually see is that the handles are a little bit thinner on the new executive, but still sturdy and durable.

I love the new "improved" Cerf! I don't even undo the tab... it is so easy to reach inside and take things in and out with the tab closed.
