Hi,
I just got a mini cert tote in black with GHW yesterday. I didn't know about the 2 leather types like deer skin vs calf skin...Thanks for info. I did see they have mini black with SHW & beige or light brown with SHW in both mini size & large size at the Chanel on 57th st in NY.
Just for reference, the mini size price is $2500. I didn't check price on the other size.
The mini size does not have a strap.

And it is $3000 now in the US not sure if since 2011 but definitely in early 2012 when I was doing research. The gold hw is harder to come by. I got the last one at the Paris boutique on ave montangine. You can try to call the boutique to see if they have gold in stock or they can find one at another boutique for you.

I'm pretty sure all are. Before I bought my bag I insisted the SA to enquire about whether there is any made in France for this bag & after doing her home work she discovered that to her knowledge they should all be only made in Italy!

Hi ladies,

Just bought my Cerf Tote from Selfridges, UK.

Any ideas if Chanel extend the bag in size this year? I just got the feelings its too big than the original one

heres some pic with measurements...

Last pic is to show the weight of the bag on its own... (empty 1.27kg), just for the record mine is also made in Italy.. love the smell of the leather :cool:

Hi and congratulations on your lovely new Cerf.
Please show us some modelling pics!!
I am from the UK and my SA showed me a couple of seasonal Cerf's a couple of months ago which were bigger than the classic size.
Maybe you have chosen one of those?
The prices were higher for the seasonal, around £1950 and just over £2,000 rather than the usual £1600 pre price increase amount.

Dear CapriTrotteur,

Many thanks for your reply. I bought it for £1600 tho but i just want to make sure she did not put the wrong size in the box... I would highly recommend selfridges to get ur bag as the SA are all very patient and kind. Ive bought twice here and i like the service.

If you can buy from T3 Heathrow its even better in terms of price, its only £1333.33 and SA there are quiet friendly as well 

I will post some modellung pic for sure soon... Ebjoy ur sunday..
