Hi, I'm new to the Chanel forum. I have been researching about the black Cerf tote. I looked at one today at the store and the SA said it is made of deerskin. Can anyone confirm? I question because it is not consistent with what I've been reading. TIA

I think the new one out which is for this season is made of deer skin. My SA said it's a little softer than the normal ones and the size is bigger. If you get the regular size it's $3000 but this season one is $3300 I believe.

Hello Cerf ladies,

A Chanel newbie here.
I only own LV bags en accesoires and decided that it was time to cheat a little on my beloved LV😜. Like a month ago i thought i found the perfect lover in the YSL Cabas. So after some debating back and forth with my sweet BF he told me last week i will get it for my birthday in october. Totally over the moon i was browsing through TPF and literally stumbeld upon this thread en you ladies made me fall in loveeeee. Called Chanel store yesterday and i'm on the waitinglist, so as soon as they arrive (sep,oct), i can go and get my Cerf tote, or executive (with french accent) as the SA pointed out to me. I'm even more over the moon now then i was last week, but there's just one little but..
I have never seen the cerf in real live and although i don't think it will disappoint me. Do you ladies have some info for me? Some things i definitely need to know before taking "the plunge"?

I had just ordered the cerf/executive tote in a creamy brown colour (or taupe) with SHW and the inside lining is grey. Was told that the taupe is a new colour this season? I haven't received it yet but would anyone know if this kind of colour is seasonal? And Im not sure about it being grey inside as i do like my black with black inside lining. I have to be honest cos quite a lot of the SA in boutiques gives me different answers to the same question..

I called two Chanel boutiques this week and ik think that it is a seasonal colour. The SA on the phone told me that there is a classic one in black. And the seasonal one comes in a few colors and i slightly bigger. I actually have te reference A66439. The reference of the classic one is A15206. Hope this helps

Just to share the pic I have taken when I asked the SA to show me the executive/cert tote. He said these 2 are this season color and leather, the usual black with gold HW was past season which I didn't take pic of.ImageUploadedByPurseForum1376721075.108896.jpg
