I am thinking of getting pre-loved cerf as my work bag. But the one I found and love the color does not have the detachable strap.

Is it difficult to find the strap online? Or would Chanel boutique carries extra?

Quick question!

Does anyone have any pics/mod shots of their small cerf tote? I'm looking at buying pre-loved from Fashionphile but I'm having trouble finding photos or reviews from those who own one. I don't tend to carry a lot so personally it would be a grab-&-go bag when I run errands or head out for dinner etc.

I'm currently tossing up between these two, one has GHW (17 series) & the other SHW (19 series - with grainer leather)

i've called both Heathrow terminal 3 and 5 to inquire about chanel Cerf tote as I'm travelling soon and would like to purchase it on the way, they both told me that the Cerf has been discontinued! They still stock the cerf in some london stores though i'm not so sure anymore what's happening with the cerf? could anybody tell me please? :sad::sad::sad: it'll be very sad if they actually discontinued it

edit: I've called New Bond Street (london) boutique and enquired further about it and the SA told me that this bag has became seasonal and removed from the 'classic' collection hence they may not come out to all stores anymore :( that's why the SAs at both terminals in heathrow told me that it's been discontinued.

Thanks for this info, I asked isn't UK Chanel club and no one answered. Will look out for it in the department stores.

Hi all! I recently purchased a cerf tote and am looking for a purse organizer to help keep it's shape. Any recommendations for organizers would be greatly appreciated! I noticed some of you are using the divide and conquer in the 13 x 5 x 6 size-is this for the regular tote or the XL? I am leaning towards the divide and conquer organizer (but open to other options) that is stiff and rectangular, just not sure which size to get. TIA :)

I have 2 cerfs that are about 10 years old. I used to store them with no organizer and standing straight up. They started to smoosh at the bottom. Thanks to the wonderful people on this forum, I learned I needed to store them with an organizer inside and laying flat on their backs. My bags measure 13 1/2 long x 6 wide. I purchased the D&C 13x5x6 with rigid ends. My bags now have NO smoosh at the bottom. This organizer has saved the structure of my bags. Please get one from D&C.

Thank you so much for your detailed response and sharing your experience! I'll definitely go back to the D&C site and make sure I get the correct size organizer :)

You won't regret it. Let us know if you get it and how you like it. Honestly, the folks here on this forum have been so helpful to me. When I first got my organizer, I put it in my bags, stuffed with towels and let them hang by the handles for 2 days. The smoosh was gone. I then removed the towels, left the organizers in, and stored them on their backs. They now retain that boxy shape which is why I purchased them to begin with.

Thanks so much! I'm going to order the organizer you recommend tonight-I'm so excited! Do you have any pictures of the outside of your bag/what the shape of the bag looks like with the organizer in it? I would love to see what it looks like (mine looks rather slouchy now). Also can you close the bag with the organizer in it? Thanks again!
