Some claimed authentic bags have a print on the upper-left of CC logo but some claimed authentic bags do not have this print. I've attached the two pictures for reference! If there is no such print on the logo, is it an indication that it is a fake??



Everything else seemed super-real to me and a lot of sellers who claim that their bags are authentic have smooth logos without the print, so I was wondering this is just due to the different years that they were produced or a clear sign of a fake.

Hey, I wouldn't use this to determine authentic or not as my bag does not have this print and mine was purchased from selfridges in 2015. I know mine had the newer more structured leather rather than the original very slouchy soft 'cerf' leather

Hello - can anyone clarify on the difference between the black seasonal and the black classic, once and for all? It's confusing business! Is there a size difference between the two or is it just related to leather type, hardware color, and perhaps price?

I went through this a lot when I was looking for mine .. And think I've posted previously on here quite Im detail about it
The long and short is yes there is a difference - they have different style codes as I went to two different shops and compared them and there was a definite difference in size ... Seasonal was bigger and bulkier, also the seasonal and a grey interior not black, slight price difference I believe x

I have always wanted a black cerf with SHW and was so sad to hear from my SA that it has been discontinued! I found one used but the condition was not "excellent" as described and I'm sending it back. [emoji35]. If anyone sees a new/almost new one please let me know! And has anyone heard if they will bring the old style back? TIA!

Hi. I'm looking for a black cerf tote with gold hardware. My local boutique says it's sold out but may eventually come back. I'm not sure if I want to wait it out or get pre-owned?
Any advice on pre-owned? When did this bag come out? I've read 2005 however I did see a pre-owned with a 2000-2002 date code on it. I was immediately skeptical. Also the SA said the new totes have pale gold hardware and not yellow gold like the older ones. Any advice? Thanks!!

I haven't seen any in the stores is quite awhile. I don't know when it came out but my friend bought hers in 2014 has it for eBay for sale.

I just bought a preloved cerf tote, in the regular size. It's a bit slouchy so I want to find a liner that will repair the shape. I saw that samorga makes a lot of liners. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding the size of the samorga liner or any other recommendations for liners?

Hi, do all cerf totes in large size come with a detachable strap? I was supposed to buy a preloved one but the owner said the bag did not really have a strap and there is a collection of cerf tote without the detachable strap. Its weird because all of the cerf totes in large that i saw came with straps.

Can anybody who has an older cerf give some advice?? After what felt like years of begging my mother FINALLY gave me hers but she's had it for a while so the leather is extremely soft and the bag has somewhat lost its shape. Is there any way I can get it back to being slightly more structured again?
