I hope they find me another one like they did you! They offered a store credit to make it easier for them, making out they were 'looking after me' PFFFT:blah:
Really they just don't want to have to bother with it! I'm not happy with them at the moment and I do NOT want another bag. If they can't give me another one then I'll be demanding a refund.

Oh fyn!! I hope they can find another one. The manager at my store said there weren't anymore to replace with. So I ended up with the Siena and he gave me a refund for the difference.

I hope they find you a bag in good working order. You above all of us, had such a special meaning with that bag!

Oh gosh! What to do! The Caissa Hobo RB is my very first Louis Vuitton purchase and I hate what I'm hearing about the screw falling out. I haven't had any problems with my bag yet...I've been carrying it for about 2 weeks. The bag is beautiful but its a lot of money to have any kind of flaws!!!
Before hearing the problem of the screws falling out, I was thinking that the RB lining is so light and will get dirty fast.
If I decide to return/exchange it, any suggestions on what to get as my first LV bag?

Hi, don't worry about the dirt. The Canvas bags are easy to clean, just with a soft micro cloth and water. RB will get dirty in the same way than azur. I own a lot light colored bags and don't have any problems with it.

The screw is another thing: that could be a problem and you have to decide if you are willing to take the risk. Yesterday my SA told me (and he always told ne the truth) that they don't have problems with Caissa Hobo in their store and if I do have problems, they will fix it without discussion. Mine will arrive tomorrow and I think, I'll keep her because it is such a beautiful bag!

But if you want to change I can totally understand and maybe you will like the Neverfull or the Delightfull, both are really nice bags.

Good Luck!

I just wanted to let you know that since you've used your bag for two weeks already, I don't think you can return or exchange your bag unless there are manufacturing defects with your bag.

I agree. I have the Caissa Hobo. It's is my very first LV bag and I got it for my 40th birthday no less. But after hearing all these issues, it's not worth it. I'd be afraid if the screw gets lose and the bag breaks, God knows where I'll be and since the bag does not have a top closure, my stuff might fall all over the place. Is it true that I have 30 days to do an exchange?

Did anyone see the gaia hobo?

It's beautiful but it has the same screws as the caissa hobo.Do you guys think there will be same issues with this one aswell?

I just purchased the Gaia. I've been lurking in this clubhouse reading others experiences. It has not deterred me from the Gaia. I would hope LV resolved the defect with the screws.
