Wow! Not something you would expect after spending so much on it! Did LV apologize? I would be so upset and embarrassed.

I was so angry! When this all happend I stood in the Beauty Salon to pay for my Treatment and my Bag fell on the floor! 😤 I felt really embarrassed and like I was caring a Fake LV! 😱

I texted my SA right away including Pics and I will visit the store as soon as we are back from our vacation!

Awe bagluv4ever!! I'm sorry you had to take it back but I'm really glad you feel better. I know I did. Which was strange as much as I love that bag but I do think it was the right thing to do.

The Kensington is a beautiful bag. My store had one. I looked at it yesterday but I prefer a satchel with a shoulder strap more than totes.

My store is the Atlanta store at Lenox Mall. You could always give them a call. It was there yesterday around noon.

I hope I didn't talk you into doing anything either way, but I did want to be honest.

And after we all went through the heartbreak of returning bags we love, I hope we REALLY love our replacements!!!

No, you didn't really talk me into doing anything, I think in the end, your sound advise, the others, and me just being realistic, helped me to ultimately make my mind up. And that's great to know about Atlanta Lenox! I have shopped there before, on a few occasions.... my parents used to live in Atlanta, before we moved them back to Ohio a couple years ago. I know the store, and the Mall, very well!! I will let my SA know... not sure why my SA said that everyone was sold out, but maybe Lenox sold theirs late in the day. But anything I've ever wanted to buy my store has always gotten for me (I go to Saks in Cincinnati, and the Saks First points are a great bonus), so I will attempt to be patient and see what happens. But thank you again for everything. Yes, hopefully we will all be really happy after all this!!! :)

Thank you for saying that. Being realistic is the hard thing to be sometimes but I think we will all be happier in the end.

I'm loving my Siena so much that it's got me looking at the Turenne. LOL

Normally I would never bought a bag for this price with such an issue, but I like it so much and was looking for a long time for a sweet Hobo that I couldn't resist. I still believe in the Customer service from LV and that they fix it. Was there ever such a problem with one bag before? How does Lv react? I can't believe that a premium designer sell a bag with such problems without creating a plan B. [emoji53]

You’re welcome! I know just how you feel.So many of us really loved this bag; a lot of the ladies who returned their bags were sad to do so. I wasn’t aware of the defect when I purchased my bag but I’m almost glad I didn’t because I probably wouldn’t have bought it. Now I’m so happy that I did. :smile1: I really love a hobo, too.The Caissa has quickly become my favorite bag. So I’ve decided that if the screws fail, I will have it repaired or replaced. All the same, I respect the decision of those who have decided to return it. A brand new bag should be of excellent quality, design, and construction – worry-free. I know you’re going to really like this hobo; it’s such a pretty (and functional) bag. And you’re right, if your bag has the defect, LV will let you return or exchange it, or they will repair it if that’s an option. As long as you are aware of the problem and how you are going to deal with it, then I think you’ll be fine whether you choose to keep it or send it back. Let us know what you decide to do. :smile1:

I’m not sure what’s going on with LV. It seems like many new releases have an issue of some kind (peeling canvas,chipped or cracking leather trim…). I’d like to believe that they’re working on a Plan B, but I don’t know… we’ll see.
 
I love how this Hobo looks like, but the issue with the screw is horrible! I wanted to see her in real live, but the Rose Ballerine one was sold out. A few minutes ago I saw her again online, ready to place in cart. I pulled the trigger, next week she will arrive. I really hope that I don't fell in love with her, then I could send her back and don't feel sad. I'm afraid that I will love her and could have problems with the screw. Why did I look at her....!?! [emoji6]

Is here anyone who still Love this bag and does not have issue with the screw?


I still have this bag without issues with this bag. My first one went back within 4 days of purchase because a screw popped off.

I love it. And I'm gonna try hard to keep it. But if it pops again it might go back for sure.
 
OK, well now I just got back from taking mine back today!!! The more I slept on the issue, or thought about it before I slept, I just felt like it was silly to hold on to this bag, especially with the design issue with it, and especially since I wasn't even going to be carrying it yet, not at least for another month or more, so I thought, what's the point?


Anyway, I also felt better about it all after I did it. My SA said that he totally understood, and that they were probably going to be getting "kits" to fix the bags, but really didn't know much more info than that or a time frame. So I was again, feeling better about my decision. Even though I already sold my Reggia!! So I was going to look at seriously getting the Kensington, as I wasn't feeling it with the Sienna, didn't want the Delightful (have the Azur MM and didn't want to go with another one), however was told that they were currently sold out of the Kensington everywhere with a bit of a waitlist right now (?????), so they went ahead and put in a reservation for me for that bag, which again, I'm not in a big hurry, as I am still into my Azur and other lighter color bags, so I will just wait. So thank you, tlo, and everyone here for the support. :)

Really they just don't want to have to bother with it! I'm not happy with them at the moment and I do NOT want another bag. If they can't give me another one then I'll be demanding a refund.
 
I'm into week four carrying my bag which is rare for me as I like to change out my bags every few days. I just love it that much. So far so good. No problems at all. I really love it as its so lightweight, roomy and of course very pretty. I hope I don't have that problem with it but not worrying now, just enjoying:)

I'm definitely fortunate being in the LA area and there are quite a few stores. And I also did get it within the first week of the purse coming out. I bought this bag at one store and got a replacement at another one. And service was great at all places. When I got my replacement the SA didn't even blink. Immediately grabbed a new one. We after checking to make sure I bought a real one. Hahaha.

I would definitely demand a refund. Store credit? What are they smoking?
