I love how this Hobo looks like, but the issue with the screw is horrible! I wanted to see her in real live, but the Rose Ballerine one was sold out. A few minutes ago I saw her again online, ready to place in cart. I pulled the trigger, next week she will arrive. I really hope that I don't fell in love with her, then I could send her back and don't feel sad. I'm afraid that I will love her and could have problems with the screw. Why did I look at her....!?! [emoji6]

Is here anyone who still Love this bag and does not have issue with the screw?

I love this bag! It's gorgeous, but the issue with the screw is a design flaw which will affect all of them I'm afraid.

I took mine back today. It was sad but now that its done, I feel really good about it. I had also wondered how the pink edging would wear over time. I exchanged is for the Siena MM which was less than the Caissa. So I'm happy.

Wow.... After reading more comments, and then this, I am starting to have doubts.... even with the sincere promise from my SA. My DH said that "it's just a screw, they will fix it if you have a problem," but I feel like for this much money I should not be worried about the design with the screw. Will need to give this more thought now....

I know I would have never done what you did knowing about this issue. Every single bag is going to have the same issue, including the one you just ordered. They do not have a fix for it as of right now. The issue is the double fold puts too much tension on the small screw. It will require a completely different handle mechanism to solve the problem. They should have used an "O" ring. They are not even offering to take the bag in to repair. I mentioned this issue the first week the bag launched. I tried so many times to let everyone know and so many other members have chimed in and yet people are still purchasing it because it is so pretty, but is going to fall apart! Sorry, I don't get it. If you purchased it just to see what it looks like, maybe I understand, but I would not want the hassle of returning it.

In my opinion, unless they put on a new handle mechanism, move on. There are so many beautiful bags coming out next year.

Nivahra,
I still love this bag. Admittedly, I've been fortunate. I have been carrying it every day and I have not had an issue. So far my screws are secure; they will not move even if I apply pressure. That being said, so many ladies on the Purse Forum have had the screws on their bags fail that, in good conscience, I cannot recommend that you purchase this bag. You will fall in love with the Caissa - it's a beautiful bag - but if the handle fails, it will break your heart. Only you can decide if you're willing to take that chance but, unfortunately, it is likely that your hobo will have the same defect as most. Good luck :smile1:

Thank you for your long answer! I totally understand your point and you are right. But I think that if I really love this bag when I see it IRL, than I can fix the screw by myself. Of course, so an expensive bag dosn't have such problems, but I'm looking for a hobo very long and I don't like the other ones. For me returning is not a hassle because I ordered online, you can easy send it back and I ordered/bought so many things this year from LV that I think, returning is not a problem for LV.

My bag is still ok and still loving this bag. Sooo pretty and comfy.

omg, I'm so sad to read about this screw problem with Caissa hobo! I have not bought a new LV in 2 years and this was going to be it. :( I really want a hobo, but I'm not really feeling it with delightful or artsy. I read some issues with portobello too. Is sully the only other option?
