Congrats on the Siena MM. Love the style reminds me of the turenne. :smile1:

Thanks MXMM!! I know I did the right thing. As STUNNING as that bag is in the RB, I do not want to pay that much for a bag and have to worry about the screws. Taking the screws out of the equation, I remembered what you had said about the RB glazing and wondering how it would hold up. Plus the advantage of DE is you don't have to worry about the weather. But I wouldn't want to carry it in rain due to the open top with the lining going all the way to the top.

I really like Siena. I like the pleating, more lady like. I don't think I will be able to part with my speedy b 30 but I will use both.

I'm still thinking about your turenne. You are right, they are a lot alike. I really like how they both are thin at the top and widen out at the bottom. So I'm thinking of getting the turenne. I'm torn between pm and mm. If I do, I will sell my mono speedy b.

I knew immediately I did the right thing when I returned my cassia. You just feel it in your gut!
You should get a turenne pm so you can use it crossbody. It's worked out well for me as a crossbody. :smile1:

Yes, you do feel it. As sad as I was to return it. Once I handed it over, I knew I did the right thing.

I'm going to go and try on the Turenne and purse pose. LOL!! I'm thinking that once I get to see the new groom line slgs and get a Turenne, I may take a break for a while and enjoy what I have. I really need to thin out some of mine if I can part with them LOL

It's sometimes hard to part with them... Sometimes I feel like a purse hoarder.

Nivahra,

I still love this bag. Admittedly, I've been fortunate. I have been carrying it every day and I have not had an issue. So far my screws are secure; they will not move even if I apply pressure. That being said, so many ladies on the Purse Forum have had the screws on their bags fail that, in good conscience, I cannot recommend that you purchase this bag. You will fall in love with the Caissa - it's a beautiful bag - but if the handle fails, it will break your heart. Only you can decide if you're willing to take that chance but, unfortunately, it is likely that your hobo will have the same defect as most. Good luck :smile1:

Thank you for your words! I hope the best and if not, I send her back. Maybe I don't like it IRL. Normally I would never bought a bag for this price with such an issue, but I like it so much and was looking for a long time for a sweet Hobo that I couldn't resist. I still believe in the Customer service from LV and that they fix it. Was there ever such a problem with one bag before? How does Lv react? I can't believe that a premium designer sell a bag with such problems without creating a plan B. [emoji53]

Yes LV would fix it if there is a fix. Right now, they don't have one. They can do one of two things. Come up with a fix or alternate mechanism or just kill the production of the bag and go on to the next one.

Right now, that is the unknown.

HTOWNE said that they should have better used an O-Ring and I agree. That can't be so much work to find such an fix. The Caissa found so many lovers, I think they should better fix than go on,to the next one, but I'm not working there and we will see. That is my hope which speaks to you [emoji6]

I agree!!!! That would have been much better to use the O-ring!! I do hope they fix it and soon but with LV and other companies you never know. :roflmfao:

I took mine back today. It was sad but now that its done, I feel really good about it. I had also wondered how the pink edging would wear over time. I exchanged is for the Siena MM which was less than the Caissa. So I'm happy.

OK, well now I just got back from taking mine back today!!! The more I slept on the issue, or thought about it before I slept, I just felt like it was silly to hold on to this bag, especially with the design issue with it, and especially since I wasn't even going to be carrying it yet, not at least for another month or more, so I thought, what's the point?

Anyway, I also felt better about it all after I did it. My SA said that he totally understood, and that they were probably going to be getting "kits" to fix the bags, but really didn't know much more info than that or a time frame. So I was again, feeling better about my decision. Even though I already sold my Reggia!! So I was going to look at seriously getting the Kensington, as I wasn't feeling it with the Sienna, didn't want the Delightful (have the Azur MM and didn't want to go with another one), however was told that they were currently sold out of the Kensington everywhere with a bit of a waitlist right now (?????), so they went ahead and put in a reservation for me for that bag, which again, I'm not in a big hurry, as I am still into my Azur and other lighter color bags, so I will just wait. So thank you, tlo, and everyone here for the support. :)

Awe bagluv4ever!! I'm sorry you had to take it back but I'm really glad you feel better. I know I did. Which was strange as much as I love that bag but I do think it was the right thing to do.

The Kensington is a beautiful bag. My store had one. I looked at it yesterday but I prefer a satchel with a shoulder strap more than totes.

My store is the Atlanta store at Lenox Mall. You could always give them a call. It was there yesterday around noon.

I hope I didn't talk you into doing anything either way, but I did want to be honest.

And after we all went through the heartbreak of returning bags we love, I hope we REALLY love our replacements!!!
