When was your bag made? If you don't mins me asking please? So LV Australia is aware of the issue? I don't mind fixing the screws myself if they give me the screw driver bit. Thread lock will be added to it for sure. LOL!!!

I'll have a look when I get home from work.. But I definitely will be keeping her! Even if we fix it. The trouble my DB went to,to get it for me! They haven't heard of it happening at LV but apparently I'm the only one who has come in wearing it. They were all gushing ha ha!

I love this bag too. I am not sure I can give it up. I tightened my screws on mine tonight, just to make sure. I think a check once in a while might be in order but I can't think about giving up the bag. The bag is so effortless and easy. Love it.

I may be in the minority but I'm not worried at all. I never baby any of my bags. I treat them so I can carry them rain or shine. If the handle on thIs hobo fails, I'll get it repaired or replaced. I LOVE this bag! It may not be flawless but neither am I ... ;)

Wow. I don't love anything materialistic that much. I have never had to return any of my Louis Vuitton bags because of a design defect, but I would every time. I have been collecting for 15 years and I expect superior workmanship for what I pay. If not, I don't want it. I don't consider the issue with the hobo a flaw. It is a major design defect.

I could never carry a bag that I constantly have to wonder if the strap is going to come off and my valuables fall to the ground, and possibly break. That is crazy in my mind. I definitely wouldn't sit there and tighten the screws every time I use it or even worry about checking the screws to see if they are loose. No bag is that great.

They love to say they have never heard of an issue before. I would be careful about trusting that comment. They receive updates and bulletins every day on items that have issues, return of stock, etc.

the screw mechanism might stop me to grab it.. i might wait for the monogram Gaia 😯

I have the Gaia on order. We will have to see if the screws are the same because it looks like they are. I won't even bother dealing with it if that is the case. There are some great pieces coming next year and, before you know it, we won't even be thinking about these.

Yes and I'm kind of worried. I'm watching it. I tightened it the one time, just to make sure it didn't get tightened before it left the factory. But I won't keep doing it.

I love this bag, but I'm not going to spend this much on a bag and have to keep tightening the screw.

I HATE to say this but if it loosens, I'll return it. If the handle on the upcoming hobo is the same, I don't want to deal with it either, so I may just go with the Delightful DE MM. Then I will have the complete trifecta. LOL

I know! I'm the same way right now. If I lose this thing again...I'm done with the whole bag and will return it for good.

I understand how you feel - and you're right, it's probably a design defect but I'm just not concerned about it. I'm not being materialistic. It's just a bag -- a beautiful bag -- but the handle can be repaired or replaced, if necessary. I'm not checking my bag. I'm not worried about the quality. I do love it (with a small "l"). I enjoy carrying it. I expect superior workmanship too and, so far, I haven't been disappointed with any of my bags. I respect your decision to refuse to purchase a bag that you consider defective but this just isn't a deal breaker for me.

Okay Girls, my handle broke too! I went out of the Beauty Salon and bammm, my Bag fell down! 😤😤 thank God I found The screw, I called LV and I'm waiting for my SA to call me back!

What do you use to tighten? I am setting Ching over to my caissa tonight. I'm nervous but my SA told me to use it and if there r any issues to bring it back and they would take care of it.
