Today, Rhubarb found the amazing gift I received.
A Basford coloring book, about the ocean! In German!
And lost his wee mind with joy.

Bear remembered his ocean swim, to US, in happy chatter.
Hugging book tightly.
Then grabbed toy lizard & climbed into dining room chandelier.
Because I would not agree to let them color most of the pictures.
Especially most with turtles.

Several broken art pencils fell into my coffee during breakfast.
And onto my sandwich during lunch.
But, standoff ended peacefully--Rhubarb climbed down.

Then suggested that I buy crayons.
Which might be less slippery in excited Steiff paws.

[emoji173]️ Hopefully Rhubarb didn't start to bubble German when he saw that book. Could cause some problems... [emoji1]
So, he showered you with broken pencils? Hmmmm. Naughty bear. [emoji6]
Glad he likes the book so much.

i agree with rhubarb, crayons are the way to go, less pointy as projectiles so safer for bears and humans!
has he been watching tarzan movies? although chandeliers are a bit more luxurious than dangling roots...and safer
happy colouring rhubarb!

Today Rhubarb decided to improve classic mulberry design even farther than did Coca.
By adding power & altitude, rather than mere leather side wings.
So borrowed some of my model rocket supplies.
And my oxblood bayswater.

Soon, bear drew up a rough scheme.
For tying propulsion system to top of bag.
And lauching bays, complete with tree lockplate, briefly into orbit.
With payload recovery, via orange checkered parachute.

Jimmy the lizard confided that he didn't believe airborne bags would sell as well as classic versions.
That most people wanted basic functionalty. Rather than trendy rocket fins & nose cones.
But Rhubarb ignored naysayer.
By wrapping him tightly in knitted scarf, until unpleasant words were inaudible.

That Bayswater looks like it wants to be in the next Bond movie. [emoji1]
