The Brilliant (Bonkers) Bear Club...

Today I entertained myself reading about the adventures of rhubarb and the other bears. Somehow I had not noticed this clubhouse thread. Love it! It is really brilliantly bonkers!!

Warmer weather called Rhubarb to grab a mason jar.
And tromp outside.
To gather interesting things from the garden.

Gathering things in jars was what bear imagined scientists did.
When weather turned warmer.
Or perhaps medicine men, in distant lands.
So he tied scarf around head.
Attempting to look both brainy & mystical @ same time.
Which proved difficult. And itchy around the eyes.

Eventually, Rhubarb's jar contained:
Small stick
3 rose petals
2 dandelion leaves
Pretty stone
Soft feather
And a very interested toy lizard, snapping his rubbery teeth.

"We could cure lots of sad things with this sort of medicine," bear decided.
Just before Jimmy swallowed a rose petal.

Woke this morning to find note beside Jimmy the lizard.

(Seems man in my life reads thread, also. :D)

[emoji1] Rhubarb reminds me a bit of Silvester Stalone. He just needs to wear a white undershirt!

Hehehe. Man in your life is as inventive as you are. [emoji6]

These are too cool!

I thought of Rambo movies, also.

Then tried not to. Ever again. :D

[emoji23]. I like imagining Rhubarb in a dirty white undershirt...

It becomes evident why man in my life & I found each other. ;)

Today, Rhubarb became curious about my new phone case.

Because box read, "lifeproof."

With icons of snowflakes, raindrops, mud splatters & being bumped.

He & Jimmy interpreted such icons as a challenge.

Then raided my toolbox.

With scissors in mouth, toy lizard...

Hey!

Sweet, smokin' deities of chaos!!!

No, stop!

(Fumbling & swearing sounds edited.

To protect any children or tender souls.)
