No need to apologize! I would rage up a storm if they deny me the discount tomorrow, when I head in. And that customer service representative has no idea what she's talking about-a few members were all able to use their PCE's on the boroughs! Coach need to stop trying to hush up the promotion, to make the boroughs look more exclusive. If these bags were even found at outlets, then why can't PCE be used on them? Sheesh!

My store manager called me Monday and said to think about it and call her back because I had until Thursday to decide.
When my store manager called me she said I had until Thursday to decide.....so they all weren't told the same thing.
With any bag, I just switch it around when it gets uncomfortable. For a small borough, I would switch shoulders, then switch to crossbody either side, then go to handheld or crook of arm if necessary. That's 8 ways to carry a bag (using both arms). Sometimes I loop the strap around my wrist but I don't know if I would do that with the borough, only if it didn't bow. That makes ten ways. You may also be able to lighten the bag up.
I've shopped for hours with Bleecker Business Tote this way, but I don't carry much in that - usually just mini-purse stuff and a jacket.
My shoulders are pretty strong, though. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
Yeah, that sounds like the same exact line they gave about "a few Boroughs ending up at the outlet". More than "a few" were purchased at the outlet by tPF members not to even think about all the people who are not on here who probably got them. Coach needs to get their crap together. They are looking very shady.........

Thanks for the replies Ladies! I purchased the bag partly for the crossbody feature so I don't want to carry it just as a handheld. I was juggling it around though from shoulder to shoulder, hand to hand and while it did help, it was also kind of fussy. I'm going to see if any of my other crossbody straps will work with the color scheme and just persevere in the meantime! Maybe I just need to hope a callous will form on my shoulder to ease the pain!
Yup, I mean those who actually confirmed they got their bags from the outlet, or with PCE. Must be lots more who didn't comment, and others who're not even on the forum! Feels like that's what Coach resort to, after the "boroughs never go to outlets, or are ever discounted" claim doesn't work.
Macy's currently has 25% off all Coach, including the Borough, plus another 20% off if you use your Macy's card on top of that, so if Macy's has the Borough desired, it's a better deal anyway! No idea how long it lasts though.
Interesting, my SA rung up the vermillion and it came up at full price. Wasn't marked down on the website either. But yes, they do have a 25% off on all other coach (full price and clearance).
......I know, right! And I LIKE big bags but that's overkill. You can fit 2 small kids in that thing.
I think you could fit the model in there.
