Are you going to try washing her? I’ve never done it.Yeah they’ve taken returns from me in the past, which I think is fair given how much of my paycheck goes to them… oh well c’est la vie

Me too…Given all the financial trouble TRR is in, I think it's going to get increasingly harder to get them to take returns, even in the case of fakes. (I still can't quite them, but man I know it's going to bite me one day).
Thinking about it…Are you going to try washing her? I’ve never done it.
I did I even circled it for them and tried arguing but they weren’t having it. Disappointing.Did you send photos? This seems out of character even for them. I mean the refusal to take it back. The misleading photos are very much in character.

I would ask them what exactly they mean by "patina" as the dictionary defines it as "a usually green film formed naturally on copper and bronze by long exposure or artificially (as by acids) and often valued aesthetically for its color." Your issue has zero to do with any kind of patina, it has to do with staining, and not the "spots at handles" they disclosed but a larger stain of artificial origin. (That was partially obscured by inadequate photographs.)It wasn’t in the description. It said “heavy patina” but nothing about the stain. In the pic it was half covered by the shoulder strap slider but now that I know it’s there I can see it. I argued my case but they said it matched the description. I hate them but damn they got some nice bags sometimes.
Aahhh I see ugh just let me run it.![]()
Can The RealReal's aggressive cost-cutting help it reach profitability?
Resale company The RealReal has been in a rough spot. Last July, it announced an accelerate plan to reach profitability — which it has yet to achieve in its 12 years of existence, including in the four years since going public. Last week, in a cost-cutting effort, the company announced plans to...www.glossy.co
I agree 100% and voiced that concern verbatim. Their response is “we’ve reviewed your case and determined you received the bag as described.” I replied with “I disagree” and then a week later they responded with the same email as before. I feel like such an addict going back for more with that flippant and unhelpful behavior.I would ask them what exactly they mean by "patina" as the dictionary defines it as "a usually green film formed naturally on copper and bronze by long exposure or artificially (as by acids) and often valued aesthetically for its color." You can always challenge the credit card charge and win, but if you paid with store credit you're out of luck. Challenging the credit card charge, even if you win, might get you on some type of banned list.I agree 100% and voiced that concern verbatim. Meh. Now it’s turned into a science project. I just tried cleaning (scrubbing) the stains with a leather honey cleaner wipe. Will report back after it dries. If not, I really think I’m going to gentle cycle her.You can always challenge the credit card charge and win, but if you paid with store credit you're out of luck. The story was that they invested heavily in software and technology. Shame because that's one of their weakest links. The listing photos and details/descriptions are a disaster. How the giggity do you not make a profit for over a decade in the resale business? Especially when you spend zero money on authentication and very little on your listings.
