Unfortunately, these come along very rarely, and whoever sells them does not the name so searching for them is pretty hard. There's this one on ebay right now, but it's not the big travel size to replace your Longchamp.

Ah! Thank you! I now know what I need to hunt… is it heavy?
Gotta love Japanese descriptions. They never disappoint!

It is out of shape, scratched, and the skin on the bottom is partially peeled off. It is a difficult point.”

Meanwhile, I’m blowing my budget to pieces with CeeJay’s bags. I don’t know what I will do when they all arrive.
The plan was to return those I don’t absolutely love… but I have a feeling that plan will fall apart.:graucho:
The Finds thread has also set me back.
I am justifying all this by saying that I haven’t purchased any bags in years… except for my HG Birkin 25, which was mandatory.

It is not heavy at all. I use this bag as my airplane carry-on and for weekend getaways. Though I imagine it's not as light as your pliage.

This is a first, even for me…
I just bought a CGH Besace because
1. I need one neutral bag and it’s black
2. Dirt cheap
But mainly
3. It’s on Posh where you see all the buyer comments/questions and this seller is a saint of patience with some of the dumbest nonsense you’ve ever seen and as a fellow seller I felt the need to give her my money as a tribute to her professionalism.

Hello, ladies! I’m hoping someone will give me advice and out using a Bal bag for travel.

I usually use a large Le Pliage, long handles, custom ordered from France around 2010. I’ve lost count of the times it has crossed the ocean. Unbelievably, it’s still in great shape, including the corners. I have a felt purse insert inside, and it holds everything from iPad to headphones to gum, and she has held up amazingly, being dragged through security machines, shoved under airplane seats, stuffed in the overhead, thrown in trunks of taxis. Picture of said faithful-serving Longchamp below.

My Bals, all Cities, Firsts and one mini, have been sitting in my closet for years, because I kept choosing my Chanels instead. Recently the Bal bug bit me again, and I bought a few of CeeJay’s bags, but now I am wondering if the Weekender could serve me as well as the Longchamp, and of course be more chic… what do you say?

Would it stand up to the abuse I described above? Would a Weekender be about the same size? What year would you recommend?

And where do you suggest I look for a good one in chèvre?
Would have to be dark, I suppose, although I would adore one in blue.
Thank you in advance for any help :flowers:

Was it clearly photographed on their site? Mentioned in the description?
It wasn’t in the description. It said “heavy patina” but nothing about the stain. In the pic it was half covered by the shoulder strap slider but now that I know it’s there I can see it. I argued my case but they said it matched the description. I hate them but damn they got some nice bags sometimes.

Hmmm, I wonder if they’ve toughened up their returns? Used to be if you could prove it wasn’t as listed they had no problem taking it back.
