Beautiful! Can you provide modeling pics of both? I have The MM but concerned I may need The GM..,Thanks! It will be totally worth it, especially if you can find a preloved one for a good price and the total overall price after repair is still good. I like the look of the new Montsouris backpacks but I just love these old ones even more. Here are some pictures of my GM and MM, both of which I got repaired over the summer. I can finally join this club with my new Josh backpack!
I had all the external vachetta replaced on my Montsouris GM from 1998 - they also did the straps and hardware 
Just posted these pics to help with an inquiry and thought I’d share in the club. I can’t believe my PM backpack is over 6 years old now 
Absolutely LVoE this bag and its hardiness/durability… it’s been abroad in extreme humidity and cold, caught in multiple thunderstorms and flurries and yet still looks this pristine. Really amazing lol
