Just posted these pics to help with an inquiry and thought I’d share in the club. I can’t believe my PM backpack is over 6 years old now Absolutely LVoE this bag and its hardiness/durability… it’s been abroad in extreme humidity and cold, caught in multiple thunderstorms and flurries and yet still looks this pristine. I believe it has been discontinued. It no longer appears to be available online.
I’m thinking about selling one of mine but not sure now due to discontinuance 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi, I have the same backpack and wanted to replaced the leather same like yours..its soo pretty .... may I know
1) which country of LV you got it done and 2) how much did it cost you in total?
3) How long did it take?
4) Did they put the date code in the new pc of leather?

Just wanted to share my recent experience with my PSM. So about a week ago, I noticed that the area around the zipper was getting "flakey"...I have the updated model (purchased in 2022). I immediately made an appointment at the store nearest me, honestly not expecting much as I've had the bag for 2 years. The manager inspected it and after about 2 minutes declared he was going to swap it out and give me a brand new bag! Yayyyy! I was so thankful because I love the bag. Very pleased with the LV customer service.

Yes, the backpack is a GM size. Sorry ..
the backpack is per se in a good condition.
Its just the leather parts that look somewhat off to me.
Maybe the leather has been treated with something or replaced.. I really do not know.
Maybe someone of you guys out there and experts have an idea as to why the leather parts look so shiny???
Could the parts have been buffed???

It's gorgeous I'm currently looking for this bag.

I guess they did bring back the montsouris backpack this month but hiked up the price so much. I have a montsouris pm bought more than 20 years ago, sent it to repair for all outside leather replacement this year for my daughter (to start using) since the vachetta has gotten dark and she just wanted a new look. She loves it now.

It's the best solution and a wonderful gift from mom to daughter- exchange out the vachetta. I plan to do this with my daughter.

I have the same backpack from 20 years ago with the original yet dark vachetta. I have considered buying the newly launched Montsouris, bc I love it. Now after seeing your backpack I’m thinking about replacing the vachetta as well. Would you mind sharing what you paid for the replacement??
