I actually went to the store, they took the whole thing and said would send me new bag so we’ll se what happens next. Fingers crossed no more problems.

I just ordered one from a store in NY that’s made in USA. I hope nothing is wrong with it! How long did it take to show on yours?

Bit of a first world problem here.I really don’t like the shoulder strap for the Favorite as I worry about tearing the leather where you do the loop if I keep taking the strap on and off. I’m thinking about buying the adjustable shoulder strap although I can’t decide whether to get the adjustable strap in the same width (12mm) or go for the bigger 16mm one. Don’t want it to look odd and add unnecessary weight to an otherwise lightweight, low maintenance bag, but at the same time worrying about 12mm strap being a bit dinky and fragile?
Would really appreciate your thoughts. Does anyone wear their Favorite with an alternative strap and which one do you go for? Tia x

I agree with you 100% ! I don’t like the vacchetta strap on my monogram favorite at all. It cheapens the bag and definitely looks to thin for the size of the mm. Not to mention it is too short on most women as well. I ordered the monogram strap for it and LOVE the way it looks! It changed the look of the bag completely. I didn’t even wear my favorite until the Monogram Strap arrived. It did take three weeks to get it. I tried to order the 16mm monogram strap online but Louis Vuitton said that it is now unavailable. So I ordered the monogram strap for the Pochet Metis. I am now so happy with this bag! Get it! You won’t regret it

The first one (2015) I wore about 3-5 times and then stored it. A few months later when I reached for it I saw the crease. I thought it was because I didn’t put something between the magnet and the flap when storing (bag was stuffed though).
Exchanged it in 2016 wore it about 3 times. Stored it stuffed with a few dust cloths between the magnet and flap. Reached for it months later and saw a slight crease.
Some say it’s wear and tear from always opening but I hardly wore this purse both times. I don’t even have any patina on it. My crease is not as deep yet but in time It prob will get worse. For a $1300 bag this is unacceptable imo. I have a few LV’s and this is my biggest regret purchase.
Some people seem to not have an issue, esp with DE (very few DE have it) - hopefully u won’t have a problem. Just keep an eye on it.
I ordered it as a repair too - it should come in any day then as it’s been 2-3 weeks
I think they may have reformulated the canvas since 2016 so I’ll cross my fingers I’ll be ok. My SA has had no issues reported.

Wow I agree the mono strap completely changed the way the bag look! When I tried the strap from my PM on my PA I thought it looked too odd, like it was disproportionate to the size of the bag. But PM strap on Favorite looks perfect, I suppose Favorite is a much more substanstial bag compared to the PA. I wanted Favorite in mono but went for the DE because I want a fuss free bag for everyday use and not have to worry about staining the vachetta everytime it rains. If only I had thought about swapping the strap with PM strap, I wouldn’t have gotten the DE and got the mono instead. So gutted now lol oh the power of hindsight! 16mm strap it is I suppose. I got the Pochette Metis strap for my mono mm and I love it. Got tired of waiting for a mono strap to come in so my wonderful SA just snagged me a PM strap same day.
