Yeah, it is sad. I hated playing that waiting game too, seeing if it would get worse or fade way... It's a great bag, they just need to start making them without that strip in between the fabric!
Yes. I ended up getting Ebene this time since I haven't seen many of those with a crease. My bag was purchased preloved and it was from 2014. The seller included the receipt so I took it to an LV close to where I was vacationing a couple of weeks ago. The closest LV to my house is 3 hours away so I don't have a regular SA. They took pictures and sent it to corporate and called me the next business day to say that they considered this a defect and that they would exchange it for me. The senior store associate did say she had never seen it before. By the end they had 4 people from the back of the store out on the floor inspecting the bag, lol.
I think my bag was stored flat and unstuffed. My bag is stuffed to the max and will be carried as an everyday bag.
Yes, I always stored this bag stuffed, but standing up so that the magnet would not make the crease...but it still did. I'm happy they got back to you so quickly. My SA did say she was off today, but she submitted the pics last night. Hopefully I hear something tomorrow, or at least by the end of the week.
Creasing issue: luckily mine does not have the crease, but I noticed the inside has a "crease" there is a reinforcement inside my flap that prevents it from creasing. Maybe the ones that are getting the dreaded crease don't have that reinforcement in there?
No that reinforcement is what's causing the crease. It needs to be throughout the entire flap or not there at all . IMO
My damier ebene favorite is exactly like yours. I have the interior crease but it is not showing on the outside.
