Oh gosh i've just been reading up on all the creasing issues. I just bought my MM in DE on Fri and dropped by here to have a look at everyone elses' but now i'm sooo worried. I've wanted this bag for sooo long & i've already used her twice over the weekend. I'm praying I don't get hit with this problem. I'm also kicking myself for not reading this thread before going out to buy my new bag!

I have the same bag as you and I don't regret buying it. If it happens, LV will stand behind their products. Just use it and enjoy it...and congrats!!

Damn. Damn. Damn. Mine started to show that crease too and I sold it to buy something else. I wish I had known it was a known issue and I could've saved myself the monetary loss on the bag by requesting an exchange. :annoyed:

I purchased a pre-loved Favorite MM DA that just arrived today. I found out about the crease issue after I already had ordered it and have been holding my breath that it didn't have any signs of the crease. I didn't see any from the pictures, but sometimes those things are easier to see in person. I am thrilled that there are no signs of creasing. This is a 2014 made in USA bag, so I hope that if it was going to crease it already would have. Here's my new baby! My second ever LV and first Damier print. I think this will be the perfect on the go bag when I need something in between my work tote and going out bag. IMG_1474344745.245637.jpg

Hello everyone!!
Firstly im sooo sorry about not being able to reply earlier.
I posted my story a few months ago, where both my favourites (damier) began to show a slight crease and i totally freaked out!!!

Initially the LV store in my area refused to acknowledge the issue, and said that the Favourite was a very popular bag,and that nobody had ever complained!!!
I was super disappointed!!

Fast forward a few months and one very kind SA at LV intervened and took up the case again. Even though they are now claiming that monogram is the one with the defect, at a store level, they have agreed to exchage both my favourites!!!!!!
Needless to say im thrilled!!!

Now i am soooo confused what to exchange for!! I have NEVER loved a bag more than the favourite as far as functionality/look is concerned...it was the bomb!!!
I have sensitive shoulders, and am also prone to neck pain, if i carry bags that are too heavy, too thin straps etc...(case in point,Neverfull)

Now im sooo darn scared about what to get!!
Ive decided to take my chances with the Damier Ebene favourite again .
Fingers crossed it wont happen this time!!
But very confused about the other exchange.
Should i risk getting a Favourite monogram, which i LOVEEE the look of???
Or is that asking for trouble, Since monogram favourite seems most likely to crease...
but could it be the luck of the draw???
Aaahhh decisions....

I want something small, lightweight,
not too casual looking, and with decent room too.
I usually carry my iphone 6,wallet,lipbalm/lipstick,candy,wet wipes,sanitizer...earphones.
I could possibly downsize ....but to what extent?!

Im contemplating the Eva but the strap is wayyy too long(i dont do crossbody), plus im not too crazy about "arranging" things in that slim shape.
The Twice doesnt seem dressy enough...plus i dont like black/mono combo.

That lovely SA did show me the Felicie, and even though i did not like the shape initially, i now think it's pretty !!
Ive heard no complaints about it so far, and i have no slgs, so the Felicie without vachetta, seems a nice piece for that price!!
BUT my onlyyy fear is that it barely fits anything!!! I really struggled to put in stuff with both those inserts inside ..
Maybe i could remove the zippered pouch n see...?
Does anyone have the Felicie and if so , what can you carry in it??
Any issues so far??
Suggestions ?
(The second small bag has to be monogram, and, Id prefer to stay in that one grand price range ) :)

Sorry for that long rant, but I really need your opinions y'all!!!
Hugely appreciated!!
Thanks n cheers!

If I were you, I would not get either Favorite and use your combined money to buy the Cluny MM:

When I saw this bag is the store I almost DIED! the strap is soooooooo soft and comfortable. It is such a chic bag, and if room is what you want, you will get that with this bag. I would absolutely consider it!!!!

I'm so sorry. This is the advantage of TPF; so many answers SA are reluctant to give you.
I think many people probably would never imagine exchanging a bag that's one year old, or more! It makes sense...we are obviously taught you cannot return something you've used, and that makes sense.
But when you spend over $1,000 after tax on a bag that starts to look drastically different within a year, it's to be considered. If the issue is of no fault of your own, a design flaw or defect, I am happy and not surprised LV took care of it.
BUT!!!
Considering how many times my SA stated she has NEVER heard of a problem with the Favorite, it must be very important for everyone to make their concerns known and not be shy.
Funny, because most people don't want to take that approach. Most people WANT to enjoy their bags, not be pushy, not "look for problems," but when something like that crease sticks out like an eye sore and ruins the elegant look of the bag, it cannot be ignored.
I'm sorry for the loss you had to take on the bag. Just remember next time, if you're nice and professional, I would hope you receive the same treatment back and your concerns will be addressed in a thoughtful way with all consideration.

Check out the Pallas clutch! It's monogram, removable crossbody strap. It's my everyday bag. I have it with the Noir so the strap is treated leather instead of vachetta [emoji847]View attachment 3471995

I'm so bummed to hear about these creasing issues. I really love the Favorite. I'm wondering if going preloved is smart in this case. If it's an older bag and you don't see creasing yet, it's probably one of the okay ones?? It seems like it's happening fairly soon if it's going to happen.

I purchased mine preloved and didn't see a crease in the pictures but it was very obvious when I received it. I purposely purchased one with a receipt and took it into the boutique and was able to swap it out for a brand new one. My seller was cooperative and did agree to take it back if the boutique claimed it was regular wear and tear and would not repair it since it was not noted in the listing.

That's a good point. I've been trying to see in pictures if I can see a crease or not but it is probably a hard thing to photograph.
