I love the look of this bag so much. I ordered it in DE yesterday (mm size) and just received it. I'm so sad to say it will be going back. The magnetic close is so weak it barely even closes. I think the flap will constantly shift to one side. So disappointed to return it! I would love to find one pre-loved, as I don't think it's worth the $1k price tag. I have other bags that weren't much more ($1500 range) and they are much better quality.

So pretty! I got the same bag today and am sending it back - the magnetic closure is so weak it almost seems there isn't one there. How is yours?

I actually looked at 5 Favorites in the lv store to find the one with the weakest magnet because I am afraid that the stronger pull on the magnets may cause creasing. Most of the bags I looked at had strong magnets. Is there a store close to you to maybe try some others to find a stronger one?

Did you fill it up with stuff and carried it??
If you don't carry anything the magnetic closure doesn't sit right but it you do have things inside the closure is perfect .. At least for me i carried it a lot and nothin happend.. I 'm carring it crossbody today and the closure works fine

Sorry, silly question perhaps but did you check if there is still some protective plastic on the magnetic part? I had the same problem when in store and once the plastic had been removed it was fine.

Thank you[emoji1] Yes me too.. The mono looks also great with a mono and a chain crossbody strap and of course with the vachetta strap but i don't like the fact that the original strap has just one clip .. That's why i sold it as i have a DE and a different vachetta strap to use it as a crossbody bag..

Unfortunately, no store near me. I have to order everything online. That's a good point though - the weak magnets don't hold well (at least the ones as weak as the one I got) and the strong ones may cause the creasing! Oh well, I'll keep researching other bags!

I did put my stuff in it to see if the magnet closed better, but it didn't.
