I assume this is to me since I mentioned I used it 4 times only. I did have a crease, as I mentioned, just not a very bad one, but it was noticeable. But regardless of how the many times the bag has been used, 4 or 40 times, or how it occurred, this should never happen to a less than a year old $1k bag!!! I think it's a defect that only gets worse over time as I saw some very bad ones online.
I am sorry this happened to you and it's a shame the repair specialist is not cooperating. U sound like u did everything right, but just unfortunate to be dealing with a difficult person (repair specialist).

So I've been looking at this thread daily for months and some seem to get the crease and some haven't. I've been interested in this bag for awhile now, but it seems to be another bag with another defect. What's the consensus on this? For the ones that got the crease and if they exchanged you for a new Favorite, has the new one gotten the crease? Does it seem to be more prevalent on the mono, DE, or DA? Is it completely due to the way it's stored, stuffed, etc...? Does it seem to happen more on the PM or MM or equal to both? This shouldn't be an issue with any of these bags. I've been interested in the Melie also, and they're having problems with peeling on the corners of the canvas. I'm assuming no one's had problems with any peeling on the canvas on the Favorite, just the dreaded crease?

I haven't had problems with creasing or peeling. If you like the bag, I say go for it & if there's an issue at some point address it then but don't curse your bag before you get it. I enjoy my Favorite to the fullest & refuse to walk around worrying about a crease. I'll address it if/when it ever happens. BTW, I have the DE MM.

I too have been curious about this bag in the DA MM. Does anyone have modeling pics to share, especially crossbody? I am 5'6 and feel the strap may be too short for crossbody. I have the Eva DE and crossbody may be too long. Please share or direct me where I can find pics!

I try not to let the possibilty of creasing bother me too much otherwise I will drive my self crazy! I do agree that it might have something to do with the way it is opened. I try to stick my finger under the flap and unattach the magnet by sliding my finger in between just in case.

What I meant about the wrinkle on the side- the front flap on the side. If you run you finger along the front flap on the right or left near the edge, is it wavy and not completely flat? Here is a picture, but I don't know if you can see it.

The DE is what I gravitate more towards right now until I see someone else's mod shots in mono and think "the mono looks amazing also". Anyhow, I've done the whole "I'll address it when/if it happens" with my empriente Speedy 25 and the glazing issues, and my Pochette Metis also with known glazing defects/issues. So far it's just been the glazing on the Speedy's strap and they replaced the strap. So that's why I asked if it tended to be more with one canvas print, more with PM or MM size, storage, and so on. It's just a gamble anymore on any of these pieces. I've considered just getting the Pochette NM in DE and buy a replacement strap for crossbody, but the Favorite has a little more dressed up or down feel. I'll probable just think on it some more. I'm in no rush:smile1:

I just got the Favorite MM in Ebene and attached the clip from Mautto! Praying no crease happens. I had the hardest time choosing between the mono print and this one!
