You know when you fall in love with a new scarf so much that you rip off the paper tag the same day? That happened with Zambeze. I own the white CW from the first edition and wanted something completely different. This has got to be THE most vibrant, saturated scarf in my collection. I went a little crazy trying different knots because I couldn’t resist. So, here’s La Marche du Zambeze, CW19: jaune vif/rouge/bleu

Thats FABULOUS on you!

Sorry no serious mod shot as this is going on the wall. I say that a lot, I know. But this scarf is special. For a start the hem. I just love the rainbow! I know that a white border is not always to everyone's taste but in this instance it operates as a visual break between the hem and the main design. A photo of the reverse is included an you will see a very high colour saturation on the reverse. Enjoy!

FedEx just dropped off my La Marche du Zambeze wash scarf 90 in noir/vert/orange. CW18. I'm wearing it now, and I'm keeping it. It is softer than most new scarves, and has the feel that I love from so many of my vintage scarves.

Wow, so beautiful, it is on my wishlist, I think I will like the feel of the wash-scarf, so thank you for pictures, info and inspiration :-)

When the wash scarves first came out (a few years ago) the colors looked so faded. I wonder if that has improved? Is anyone willing to buy one wash and one regular in the same CW to show us???? :flowers:
Actually, the colors are not always faded. My first wash scarf was Coupe de Gala in FW2018. That was when the carré wash concept was introduced. I got the cobalt blue/yellow CW and it is one of the brightest, most saturated scarves I own. The Pani wash version was a bit more faded, but still vibrant... Strong yellow in my CW, whereas my blue/white Equateur was definitely more faded. So, it depends...

Fabulous! I feel that the white border perfectly sets off the multicolored hem. This CW and design is stunning! Definitely on my list... Congrats!
