Y’all wonderful ladies with beautiful photos making me think about Zambeze even though I thought I would for sure pass on it this issue...

Has anyone seen the wash versions yet? Maybe the ease of caring / washable aspect is advantage enough for me to get one...hmmmmmmm:panic:
When the wash scarves first came out (a few years ago) the colors looked so faded. I wonder if that has improved? Is anyone willing to buy one wash and one regular in the same CW to show us???? :flowers:

My rose pale CW is a wash scarf, I posted it on this thread yesterday - post #646. It is very soft (in texture) and fluffy. The wash process makes the already-gentle colors even more quiet and blendy, combined with the texture makes for a super casual / low-key look. I'm curious if the brighter color ways will have some version of the toned-down effect?
I’m so behind. I wanted the wash version of this design. Are there two versions? Ack.

You are too hard on yourself! Hope you pull out your favorite scarf and wear it today to cheer you all day long! Hang in there, the vaccines are coming and hopefully we will return to life as we knew it pre-covid!❤
Thanks for your message. I do feel better. I think all of us go through moments when we feel overwhelmed/frustrated abouts happening and I was just caught up in one of those moments when I was posted.
This is such lovely supportive community :)

I’m a bit late with this response but I am totally shocked, shocked I tell you, to read the naughty scarfies’ confessions about their library books! Not returning them? Building up huge fines!!!

As a former librarian, I need to find the smelling salts - so shocked! :wtf::wtf::eek::eek:

Now I have got that, utterly shocking revelation out of my thoughts, I will turn to scarves. I knew that it would happen. I said that I was only going to save up for one shawl, but I so love the one I now have and I am looking for another. I’m not sure whether any of the new shawls really appeal, so perhaps I will wait awhile and see?

I sooooo want to be your twin!

I can't wait!! :yahoo: :hugs:

 on both counts! Welcome to the very very dark side!

Love the vibrant colours and also the silver writing of the royal blue Marche du Zambeze. May have to get another cw in the wash version too love this design

Beeee-yooo-tiful! I think all the CWs are my favorite of this one...but special preferences on the black and blue ones.

I’ve decided that this is the season I add something yellow. The Space Derby in yellow/black that’s been modeled here is a contender, but I’m also very impatiently waiting for the yellow Faubourg Tropical to pop up online. They’re so different that I might justify both, we will see!

Very nice! I’m considering this one in the pink/blue cw but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I don’t own any 70s.

The yellow/multi Space Derby is immense - it has the absolute best hem. Definitely worth considering. I'll post a pic when I can find it (sorry, having a Tidying Derby this week).

PS I'm kittyvoo but got locked out of my account because ? so beware all ye tPF'ers, you too may lose the account you've had for 15+ years because of ?
