Wonderful choices! Congrats! This is such a marvelous design and it shines in these two CWs. I own the white CW from the original release and it’s my favorite IMO, as all of the animals and details show to perfection. Your light pink is the most similar to the original white, so I am partial to it. But, they BOTH look amazing on you

Well, I tried to resist. Really, I did...:giggle:
Space Derby in cw 22, noir/blanc/gold; color family HG (sorry, forgot to take a pic of the tag.
Awesome choice! Looks fantastic on you... I can’t wait to try this one on... My favorite thing about your CW is the way that the little stars twinkle so brightly in the night sky... and that combo of black, cream and gold is so versatile, dramatic and elegant.

Trying it out to see if it will go with some fabric I am weaving for a Saori style vest.

Well, the black is a no-brainer... Positively stunning! Congrats on a magnificent silk... And, it will go with everything! The colors and patterns are so vibrant... truly showstopping

Scarfmail, yay! This is the wash version of Zambese, sorry for the pic in fading light. I'll try to get some more photos soon. The rose poudre background is a cool lilac-leaning pink that infuses the entire scarf (sort of like a dip dye but it's a more subtle effect). I wasn't expecting that but I really like it! The wash finish is noticeable on the light background as you can see. I think that works for me because I was looking for a soft-toned, casual-feeling scarf. Need to see it in better light but I'm liking what I see so far!

Sigh.... Gorgeous! I see that slight dip-dye effect that you describe and I love it! This is a lovely, classic CW of this amazing design

I got it. Poste et cavalerie in noir/marine 45. I love how each side is so different.

Oh goodness- I love this one. It's lovely on you. I keep telling myself I don't need yet another blue/gold.black scarf - but the red help make it more different! :panic:

My first scarf from the new season, Ugo Gattoni's Ex-Libris Atlantis 70, CW10 in ceil/orange/mastic.

A quick modeling shot. This scarf is a natural to be worn with orange coral jewelry.

beautiful on you! And twins as of today but have not had time for pics. I am still in my "thinking" mode for this one, but I really like this with your mid grey sweater! These colors are not my usual wheelhouse, and so this scarf is unlike anything else I have, but I could be convinced with time!

It is for me! Thanks! This really will blend with many things in my closet.

Got La Marche du Zambeze, CW19: jaune vif/rouge/bleu today.
I own the white CW from the original edition, so I wanted something completely different this time. Will take some mod shots and share later

Can't wait to see your mod shots. I considered this CW but decided the jaune vif was probably more than my coloring could handle. I'm positive you will rock this color way! I hope someone picks up the wash version of this too, would be very interesting to compare.

I’ve decided that this is the season I add something yellow. The Space Derby in yellow/black that’s been modeled here is a contender, but I’m also very impatiently waiting for the yellow Faubourg Tropical to pop up online. They’re so different that I might justify both, we will see!

Very nice! I’m considering this one in the pink/blue cw but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I don’t own any 70s.

Y’all wonderful ladies with beautiful photos making me think about Zambeze even though I thought I would for sure pass on it this issue...

Has anyone seen the wash versions yet? Maybe the ease of caring / washable aspect is advantage enough for me to get one...hmmmmmmm:panic:
My rose pale CW is a wash scarf, I posted it on this thread yesterday - post #646. It is very soft (in texture) and fluffy. The wash process makes the already-gentle colors even more quiet and blendy, combined with the texture makes for a super casual / low-key look. I'm curious if the brighter color ways will have some version of the toned-down effect?
