My fiance and I were in Geneva, and I saw it displayed in a shop window. We went in to have a look at it - and my fiance bought it right there and then. He proposed to me just by the lake, right behind the LV shop.

That is beautiful - the diamonds are sooo brilliant and sparkly and the e-ring is so unique! That proposal also sounds sooo incredibly romantic

Here is my engagement ring and wedding band. I don't remember all the specs (been married almost 6 years with a toddler...my memory is slipping, lol). I think the center stone is .75 or .78 carats, VVS1 or 2, princess cut, set in platinum. I don't remember what the side stones are. Wedding band is also platinum. I think the total ct weight is maybe .5 carat. I seriously don't remember! Anyway, I'm glad there is a place to post my modest set!

I prefer small diamonds actually. Under 1 carat. I'm not a big diamond person. I have a gorgeous .40 ct diamond ring and I could have chosen a larger diamond. But I work a lot with my hands so a big diamond isn't good for me.
