^Slip, very nice. Did you custom make your solitaire? Those shops like Soo Kee, etc don't have 6 prongs with platnium. I may want to get some jewellery with the GSS.

Hi, I bought this from Goldheart. It's part of the Zen collection and they told me that they use PT1000, i.e. pure platinum and the 6-claw setting ala Tiffany style. I intend to save up and buy myself a one ct soon someday...and leave this to my daughter when she grows up.
Here's my newly set upgraded diamond.
Its .50 D SI2 in a Gelin Abaci Tension setting TR-004 special order because I had the bars made in white gold instead of all solid yellow gold.
I love this ring the diamond is so white and it looks like the tension setting allows lots of light in.
Everyone here has such big and beautiful engagement rings but I'm sure there are others like me who have smaller diamondsShare your pics!!
Mine is little (0.35ct) but it sparkles (F color VVS1)

_it is beautiful!!!!! And looks so much bigger than it is. Can tell the high quality, too! Where I grew up, 1 carat was huge, and hardly anyone had more than 0.5 carat! Mine is 1.28, but my DF (now DH) was doing well in his job.
What is important is the love - a HUGE thing in a small package
DAng, where do y'all get these small diamonds that look so huge??!! Or is it my size almost 8 ring finger that makes me despair of a small diamond looking large?

Here is my band and my e ring. The Band is .51ct and the e ring is .65ct I love love love my rings. We have .51ct loose princess cut stones that will be put into another band matching my wedding band this christmas

Im very glad this thread exists cause i was begining to wonder where all the big blingers in my part of town are!! In Australia (i think similar to the UK) half carat is considered the norm ... im getting my little over 1 carat princess cut ring tomorrow morn so i will post here with pride!
