Hi all! I have a quick question (I'm very new here!). I have the sudden urge to purchase a TB York tote... And I think I found a good one. I don't need authentication necessarily, just some expertise from you guys!

I was looking to find out if the larger York bag ever came in Jitney Green or something similar. I've seen the colorblock green/navy, but did this bag ever get produced in a dark forest green saffiano leather?

I've only seen Emerald Green and Mint Julep. Are you maybe thinking of Emerald Green? As far as I know, the Jitney Green was only available in the colorblock version.

Well this is the bag... Would this be considered an emerald color? I think it looks pretty close! The exact bag is pretty much non-exsistant in my Google searches so I'm unsure if it was ever even made!

The lining indicates it might be emerald. The contrast stitching is throwing me off. York totes don't have contrast stitching except in the Luggage color. I wonder if this is an upcoming color for Fall?

It's funny that you say that because that was the only part of this bag that seemed odd to me. It's from a boutique in Baltimore and the other photos of the hardware and such seemed ok. I think it's a few seasons past because the bag has the Tory Burch stamp on the zipper pulls and the logo on the interior pocket instead of being blank. I'm totally stumped, that's why I came to the experts! :smartass::biggrin:

This is not an authenticate question as I bought two direct from Tory Burch Scottsdale yesterday as the 30 percent off prompted me to do so. However to see the hardware, zipper pulls and buckles no longer have Tory Burch stamped and emblem stamped is incredibly disappointing and raises the question, how the heck is the York tote authenticated now? To me, seems fake without those stamps! And so disappointed I'm tempted to rerurn. Even for 445 for both with tax I feel like just not the quality overall. Thoughts?

We have been discussing this very topic over the past few months. I think you if look in the authentication board we had quite a few posts about the direction TB is going since they are not stamping their hardware.

Thanks! Will do as very curious and truly tempted to return. Didn't know was all TB. Was thinking just this bag.

I'm having a hard time finding comments on the stamping, search isn't pulling. I'm so curious as to thoughts

I had issues with my York tote and they offered to exchange it for me but I kept it and just sent it in for repairs because of the lack of detail on the new ones. It's a personal decision but regardless you know your bag is authentic and if it's the new direction TB are moving in, there will be other people carrying the same updated York tote.

I just find it cheap on their part and can't believe there's no longer stamping? How it TB now authenticAted if I ever wanted to sell? That is a touch I feel is needed as her bags are so minimalistic and that feature removed makes them less desireAble to me
