I'm really sorry but I've no idea what that is, a consignment shop? I've only ever purchased directly from a Tory Burch boutique or authorized retailer such as Nordstrom, Saks, Holt Renfrew, etc. As someone stated above, the new York totes and many other collections are difficult to identify among fakes since they both apparently lack engraved hardware along with other minor details.

The good thing is that it's authentic! It's unfortunate however that they're no longer adding the little details that initially drew many of us to the bag in the first place.
I've owned two of those, the first one I've sent in for repairs a couple times because of the straps and the second one I returned - even though it was on sale, I found the leather wasn't of the same quality which is probably why it was at the outlet. I'd contact CS or take it in for repair, especially since the aesthetic and functionality of the bag are excellent. As for a replacement bag, I'd take a look at the Medium Cedar Street Harmony by Kate Spade, the quality is superb, no issues with that bag or complaints, plus it has a top-zip. If you like the organization of the York Tote, there's the Multifunction Jet Set Tote by MK which is identical to the TB, plus the new ones have a top zip as well. Both the KSNY and MK are at similar price-points as the Tory Burch.
That's true but it's such an annoyance because I've never had quality issues with any other brand. I hate wasting my time to exchange my bag every six weeks. Also, the new York totes don't have the same level of detail compared to the old ones (ie: missing engraving on the hardware)
I hear ya. Nobody likes to waste their time. However, the bags are beautiful IMO, and I highly recommend them and a few other affordable brands to my circle.
Yes, The jet set bags are similar. I like those too. They do seem constructed better. I don't really care for the KSNY, mostly bc the bags are ugly IMO....
The bags are no doubt great styles but after all the quality issues I've faced I no longer purchase them and my friends & family have also become hesitant in purchasing TB. I do however love to see what others are getting because some of her bag styles are really great.I hear ya. Nobody likes to waste their time. I think KSNY has a lot of quirky bags but I've been able to find some great timeless silhouettes.
