and my Gracie is Citron. I think I had found this once before. I really need to do a spreadsheet before I forget more stuff!
I have a spreadsheet but for some reason, I had Gracie listed as brown. The accessories were listed as granite, so I guess I knew the color and just forgot.

I keep thinking of more things to put on the spreadsheet, like which accessories to use with each purse. When I did this, I discovered that I have keyfobs and scarves that don't go with any of my purses.

I'm lurking, but not buying (yay for the mortgage!) or rehabbing much. I am waiting on a british tan musette bag from a hopefully not too dodgy seller though. It will need work. At the moment I am just hoping that it actually arrives. After I won the auction I saw a link from Hyacinth to a drill down site for feedback on the seller and it was very scary.
I'm also on the fb vintage bag group occasionally. I saw you listed as a member, but you're not on there much?
How are you?

That's a Madison isn't it? I die!:faint:

Where have you been?

I blew a chance on a nice Musette. I still watch for them. I hope it works out for you!!

I forget about the FB page!I know I owe you Bal Pics as well. Summer rough for me.I have 7 acres and there is so much yardwork to do .It's starting to cool down here, will be so glad when I don't have to mow grass anymore. Have done no rehabs all summer, but I have a pile. I hope to start again by the end of the month. I tried taking pics today, but was too cloudy, will try again, I didn't forget you!

I saw the beautiful dark brown one that was on Ebay last week or the week before. It wasn't open to international bidders though, and I think it went for over $170.
We seem to have similar taste in bags - I have a brown bleeker haversack (also missing the hang tag - bummer)

I haven't forgotten about your Bal bags either! I can't even imagine having 7 acres to look after. It's just coming into Spring here, and I have spent the last few week-ends weeding and mulching my front garden on my 1/4 acre block. That was exhausting enough, and I know all the weeds will just be popping back up soon enough. It's nice to see the spring time flowers, and I have a few lizards living in my garden and they like to watch me work!
I hope you have a ride on mower, or maybe you could consider some sheep or goats to help keep the grass down??? As long as your dogs wouldn't mind

My Musette is another one I haven't posted "afters" of, her "grease spots" got darker after cleaning, and y'all know I'm aggressive about it so I don't think there is anything else to do but live with them. It is such an awesome bag though I kinda don't care. She's kind of a "pinto" bag, I forget who else had a spotty bag but that's what she's turned out to be.

Good to see you Jen, aren't you the one who originally suggested the emu oil? I think that may have saved a couple of my bags. It's worked better than anything I've tried for restoring really dry leather. I can't wait to see your musette!

you know, in general, I'm not prone to violence, and I'm happy to see one of us get a great bag...but don't carry that one in my neighborhood in the dark :graucho:

Omg that is gonna be a beautiful beautiful bag when you are done!

I know, isn't it gorgeous?! It was marked $40 but I had a 30% off coupon so I got it for $28 and I think that's a great price. At first I thought that the hangtag was missing but then I found it inside the bag. It's my first yellow bag and I love it! I just wish I knew its name and number!

Keep your eyes open, it seems like we've found names for a lot of our old bags lately! That is cute and I love that it's a different color than we usually find. Maybe you can narrow down the age a little by just hunting down what years that color was available. That should help.
