I was just complaining to myself the other day that I never find anything at savers. Well, I did last night for the first time! Hyacinth authenticated it and called it a Oliver bag from the early 1990s. It is a deep green color that my camera had a hard time picking up. Paid $3.99 for it. Pictures are post rehab.

Congrats on the Oliver! I love mine! It fits so much in it, but so easy to get everything in and out. Very pretty color on yours

My first Italian bag! Freshly authenticated by Hyacinth as a Sonoma Flap. I love it! Gray is my all time favorite neutral, so this bag will get a lot of use. And...even better...no rehab needed. It's ready to move into right out of the box. The nubuck seems to be pretty hearty.

Oh yeah...her credentials. ;)

Pretty color! I didn't know they made Sonoma bags in Italy! Mine was made in Costa Rica.

I found sneakers and a bag at a yard sale! Ignore the Vera scarves and suede 3/4 length gloves. The bag is still being authenticated.(done, and its a Slim Duffle Sac from 2000)

I just got the Sutton. She is in new condition but is missing the shoulder strap. That is going to be impossible to replace!

I am missing the strap to my Sutton too. I haven't done anything to it, I'm not really sure if it will need any cleaning, at first glance it doesn't. I think when I get around to carrying it I will just grab the strap from my Sheridan Monticello. The hangtag is similar too. My Monticello was made in NYC but as I recall Hyacinth said they were made in Italy also. I could be remembering wrong, I should probably verify that one...but either way the texture and hardware is similar.

How did I know that you would have them too? :smile1: I haven't conditioned them at all. The Sutton is in new condition. It is a little shinier than my Gracie. If I use anything at all, it will be something thin like Lexol. There are a few scratches on the turnlock on the Gracie but other than that, the hardware looks fine. It is a lighter color than real brass.
There was a Madison color called butter. That might be yours. Mine isn't on this chart. It isn't as dark as Beechnut. I think I asked Hyacinth for the color name once but if she told me, I didn't write it down.

I think it's a different color than Butter, I think I've seen Butter, but this is a little darker and has a greenish tint to it. Here's a bad pic of it again:

I almost carried her the other day, she was just a smidge too small for what I needed to carry. However, the green doesn't really show up. The color seems too bright for "Butter" though. Here's a pic of her that I posted upthread:

Ooh, love that color!

cool! I love to see that "E" code ... (unless it's on a certain Taft bag I found which said made in the United States and had an E code...grrrr)

Awww...bummer! I'd love to find a Taft, but it's been sounding like a legit one can be a bit of a challenge to find!

My gracie is the same color as your bag and it is beechnut, but that hangtag isn't a good sample, there are more golden highlights to the beechnut leather. I am missing the strap on my gracie too and it is impossible to replace.

I think that the bridle bag might be camel?

I think there might be a different set of colors that I don't have. Didn't they make this collection more than one year? My Gracie was made in January 2006. I can't find the Madison collection on the Wayback Machine. Anyway, I found this Gracie, which looks to be a different brown than mine.
