Here are my photos. I realized that one photo uploaded. She is in very good shape. Other than wiping with non-bleach wipes, I don't want to do anything...even after I have learned how to rehab bags.

Someone tried to remove an ink mark from inside the strap, but it doesn't show and won't bother me.

Oh! I haven't seen that one before, I look forward to your pics!

it's in beautiful shape and I love the color!

Your Italian collection is beautiful. You are right. The Italian bags are very different from the other Coach bags, which I love, too!

The lining is black fabric with a diagonal repeat of the Coach logo.

I'm going to try and link to my photos. I'm not sure how to do links here.

Nice! I now have two Italian Madison bags plus two card cases and a lipstick case. The black one is a Sutton and the brown one is a Gracie. They are so different from the rest of my Coach collection. They have textured fabric lining - like grosgrain ribbon. What kind of lining does your bag have?

Whateve, I love your sutton!I have never seen that bag IRL.

I was also struck with how different many of the Italian Coach bags are from most of their other bags. I didnt even know that coach had made bags in Italy until I found my Gracie bag. And although it had a genuine looking creed patch and a hangtag, and it seemed to be well-made - I had a hard time believing that it was a genuine coach, because the design and construction were so very different!

I was just complaining to myself the other day that I never find anything at savers. Well, I did last night for the first time! Hyacinth authenticated it and called it a Oliver bag from the early 1990s. It is a deep green color that my camera had a hard time picking up. Paid $3.99 for it. Pictures are post rehab.

Ooh, I have these two bags, but Gracie is yellowish, I think it's wheat? I looked it up once and now I've forgotten.

Did you condition them at all? I haven't done anything with my Sutton yet, I could carry it as is because she's nice and clean but I think she'd benefit from some brass polish, I don't know if conditioning this style of leather actually does anything but I just want to, you know?

That bag looks like it belongs in the new Legacy collection, she fits right in! Beautiful!

Pretty. I thought you had said she was from the early 90's but she is from 1999. I didn't even know that Coach was still making bags in Italy then. The leather is in amazing condition! I love that zipper pull. It has a deco look.

I just got the Sutton. She is in new condition but is missing the shoulder strap. That is going to be impossible to replace!

It is odd how different they are from other Coach bags. I find it surprising that they were made at the same time. My Rambler's Legacy was made in the same year as the Bridle.

So pretty!
Thank you! I'm pretty proud of them!

How did I know that you would have them too? :smile1: I haven't conditioned them at all. The Sutton is in new condition. It is a little shinier than my Gracie. If I use anything at all, it will be something thin like Lexol. There are a few scratches on the turnlock on the Gracie but other than that, the hardware looks fine. It is a lighter color than real brass.
There was a Madison color called butter. That might be yours. Mine isn't on this chart. It isn't as dark as Beechnut. I think I asked Hyacinth for the color name once but if she told me, I didn't write it down.

My gracie is the same color as your bag and it is beechnut, but that hangtag isn't a good sample, there are more golden highlights to the beechnut leather. I am missing the strap on my gracie too and it is impossible to replace.

I think that the bridle bag might be camel?

I think that the color of our bags is much prettier than that sample. It seems so elegant. The Gracie strap attaches differently than most bags so not only would you have to find a Madison strap in the right color, but you would have to find one that was made for a Gracie.
