the race is on!
I've seen the brown one before. I really like that blue! I bet it is hard to find one in good condition.

Ooh, red! I love red but I definitely don't need any more small purses in red - I have the satchel, an Abbie, a Laura, an Ergo and the geometric!

I just bought a red satchel-please note that I said a few posts up that I was on a ban, but this bag was my "last one" and I lost the auction. So I purchased something else on Etsy, I'd been eyeing, then I got a second chance offer on the red one. What's a girl to do? I at least closed the email and thought about it for a bit before I took the plunge.

It seemed like when I was looking for one that they were nearly all "new with tags". I think because they are suede people are afraid to carry them. There aren't a ton of them out there but since they are NWT they are priced pretty high.

I was dying to carry mine today but it's actually (finally) been raining. So I grabbed my huge "suitcase" XL tote and threw a bunch of stuff in it and carried it for the first time. I'm determined to carry the suede and not worry too much about it, but I'm not going to intentionally carry it in the rain if I don't have to.

Is it like mine? I can hardly wait to see it!

Hi! Wave, wave. I'm new to the purseblog and have been reading through the rehab and rescue thread for over a week now, in between work and the rest of my life.
I just found this thread and think it's great, but will have to admit that I haven't read through everything yet. I will. I love seeing everyone's "finds" of vintage Coach...always my favorite.
I have a new acquisition that I found on eBay. Hyacinth authenticated for me. It's a lovely Italian bag that arrived yesterday. My first Italian. Why, two weeks ago, I didn't even know that Coach made handbags in Italy! And now, I want a collection of vintage Italian bags.

I love Italian Coach bags! Which one did you get? The link didn't work for me.

Hyacinth wasn't sure what the name is, but was able to tell me that it is from the Bridle series, possibly a Demi, in the late 1990s. For some reason, I can't upload the photos. I'll take my own and upload for you later on this evening.

Nice! Love it! My first Italian Coach is en route to me now. Can't wait.

Congrats! I have the Bridle Hobo, but in a color in kind of a Mahogany brown. I saw the Bridle tote in black on ebay a few weeks ago and wanted to get it, but the handles looked pretty damaged. They are beautiful bags!

Nice! I now have two Italian Madison bags plus two card cases and a lipstick case. The black one is a Sutton and the brown one is a Gracie. They are so different from the rest of my Coach collection. They have textured fabric lining - like grosgrain ribbon. What kind of lining does your bag have?
