Am truly shocked I"m finding anything this weekend since that half off coupon is still going on. But, found another Taft (no photo yet) for $12 (probably not real, but again, looks too good to figure out by myself so took another shot) Also found a cute little Watson,$10, A NYC era Flap/bag? $10, (all TbA'd) and another little satiny hobo which probably won't come clean, but at $4 was willing to chance it....since it has a hangtag which I can use.

The little hobo was really CLEAN...even the off white cotton part of the handle has NO wear or dirt!!.........your story made me smile.! When you've looked at thousands of nice quality bags you can often just gravitate straight to the good stuff!! And yes, LET THE MEN do the pricing LOL...I LOVE those kind of stories. would love to see your D&B too because I have a love for those as well

Found this in a consignment shop. I went in and saw it....thought that it would be priced at $50-$70 (b/c this store over prices its things). Turned the tag over and saw it was $30....plus I had a $5 dollar off coupon that expired in only 2 days. So it was only $25. I thought that was pretty good.

Authenticated as a letter brief from about 1993. Bad condition. Rehabbing at the moment and already made improvements!!

NICE HAUL...I'll be interested to see if you can get the stains out of the blue one...the beige one looks like a Compact Pouch #9620. I have 2, one brown, one black, both are Coach Leatherware with early reg. numbers.

Loved the yard sale stories

Found this in a consignment shop. I went in and saw it....thought that it would be priced at $50-$70 (b/c this store over prices its things). Turned the tag over and saw it was $30....plus I had a $5 dollar off coupon that expired in only 2 days. So it was only $25. I thought that was pretty good.

Can't wait for the reveal on this one...it's a beautiful, rugged bag...Good Luck!

Thanks for giving me the name to check!! I like to figure some things out for myself without bugging Hyacinth and co. Having the name and style # helps!! It reminded me of the companion Flap but this one has the non-adjustable thin strap. I have another one I think, buried in the rehab basket, and it too is pre-94 so I needed to start figuring them out!! I was excited they were made that long ago, NYC!!

So a few months back I went by a yard sale sign... & I was compelled to stop and thats when I found a very neat straw Coach for sale cheap.... well yesterday I was driving by that same neighbor hood and there was a yard sale sign up again only this one sale moving yard sale ALL MUST GO... so I thought what are the chances it's the sale house.. I decided to see and it was & she had 2 Coach's there both of which I bought for $75... the Maggie is fairly used so she asked $25 for her and she was appoligic that she wasnted $50 for the large Sophia because she only used it a few times... it's in perfect shape... I felt bad only paying $75 for both... here they are

I want a large black Sophia so bad, I would have temporarily died over seeing the large Sophia at that price. Like, dropped to the pavement and hopped back up with the biggest cheese grin, that it may have scared the seller.

I think it was assumed to be a possible fake or else it would have been much more but they had it marked at $22.50 and I got it for half off so: $11.25!! In pretty good shape..but does need a bit of surface and lining cleaning to be done.

I love telling back stories ...haha...so, its the last weekend to get stuff at half off at my favorite thrift chain. I"ve scoured the close by stores in local stores (as posted here this weekend), and decided to take a drive to one that's about 45 mins away...was not expecting much since this store is always picked over badly, but was hoping to at least get some like new school jeans for my son. I looked in the usual primo purse section behind the counter, where it's usually over priced -and couldn't spot ANYTHING. And their stuff is on a far away back wall that you can't see well, and you have to ASK if there's anything there, which bugs me! I asked the girl at the register if there was anything with Coach on it. She goes does a quick glance and goes "nah, pretty sure it's all gone". I walked away, then walked back. I then spotted a Brighton purse and it was an ok price with the coupon so I got it for $20. Then... I see the brass feet of the underside of a bag on a hook behind 4 other black bags...I asked the other employee to just let me have a look at it. He got close enough for me to see that texture on the leather, then I saw the brass tag...and I said out loud ..."NO WAY!!! " Glad I didn't take that other gals word for it LOL. It's been a good Coach week!!​

omg!!! STEALS! I love them...I really want a sophia. I love the looks of maggies but they don't work on my shoulder well but I"m jealous of others who can carry them!!
