Is it normal for someone to have a relationship with SAs in multiple locations? Or is it better to stick to one store? I was thinking of paying SH a visit.

I guess it depends on what and how much u buy.

I think Seton is right. I think where these stores are located may also make a difference. If this store is close in proximity to the other stores you buy at then potentially it could be tricky, especially if you're looking for B,K and coveted items not on display. I could be wrong. But if you're spending gobs of money at all of them then that may be a different story.

I see, so you mean an SA won't like that I'm not be 100% loyal to him/her (since from what I understand they can see my purchase history) I was just curious to see if they had a different variety.

I'm hoping someone can chime and share their knowledge or experience

I see your dilemma. I like looking at what other store have too and am always tempted to purchase elsewhere.

I doubt SH has enuff "different variety" from Wall St and Mad.

And I will say this: I travel a lot and have visited over 30 Hs around the world and SH remains the first and ONLY store to look up my purchase history on my first visit and have the lack of tact to comment on it. I was taken aback but laffed it off at the time but I had the creeps for days afterwards.

Seton, I am glad you have chimed in. It seems that my thoughts and experiences have been skewed by shopping at this store. This is unfortunate news for me about this store. I have only shopped at a fraction of those stores but sounds like a change may be in order soon.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience Seton.

At Wall St I was told by the SA that they can't see my purchase history at other locations at all and I just politely smiled knowing it wasn't true. =P

I was very forward about wanting to establish a relationship with that location and they seemed eager to please. We'll see how it goes with my wishlist! It kind of makes me regret doing all of my recent purchases at Madison for items I could have easily gotten at Wall St.

SH is where I found out that they can also see your purchases from H.com. I bought I few things that I thought would take too long if I requested them in the store and then heard about it in a phone call. GASP! I guess SA could have just been looking up my phone number. SIGH. So now I am waiting 5 months for something I could easily purchase online. :shrugs: Now that I have typed this out I realize that H has clearly erased my common sense.

Wow, I don't feel like my SA has ever really made an effort to look up my sales. From time to time I wear something that she didn't sell me...I see her giving it a look sometimes and she may compliment me, but she has never been tactless enough to acknowledge that from time to time I "cheat on her"! Hey, if I could rely on any SA to get me the things that I ask for, no problem, I'd never go to another boutique...but as it is...

Isn't it crazy that we even think about this?!?

I was in H in bergen and they did try to look up my purchase history. Has anyone ever been able to buy a birkin from that store? They said they haven't seen them in a while and was wondering if that was true or if it was just something they said to customers they didn't know.

I bet a whole thread could be started on just this. It's pretty insane how completely different the dynamic at H is from any other company, and how quickly we condition ourselves to see it as normal.
