That's interesting. My "unique experience" when I asked if they had a bracelet or wallet not in stock was being told that I would find more stock in Madison Avenue.

May I respectfully suggest returning to SH and working with Sarah, who is beyond accommodating. Perhaps that would modify your "unique experience". Happy to make an introduction if you'd like.

Thank you kindly but I know Sarah and know what she is like. :smile1:

I have had nothing but good experiences at Short Hills as well. I do agree that the store is on the smaller side and their inventory on certain items is not as abundant in comparison to Madison or even Wall St, but I've found my SA very responsive to inquiries and have gone above and beyond to deliver what I have wanted within reason. Of course there is often a wait and it is an often joked upon topic between myself and my SA. I would not consider myself a "top 5" client, but still feel that I am treated with respect and she has always been quite honest about whether a request is something that can be fulfilled. And personally have never felt strung along. That being said, there is no reason to shop where you feel uncomfortable. Shopping should never be stressful!

Was anyone in SH lately? I was there last weekend and it was chaos. Ie not very busy but bad chaos not fun Holiday shopping chaos. I only recognized one SA who was with a client. (Tall guy, little bit of stubble, well spoken) I was in getting smellies for DH and after hovering a few mins and no one even noticing I just took one of the display ones and went to pay. All the other SA's seemed to be behind the counter and just getting in each other's way and talking over each other about a bracelet. Looked like they were all pretty much novices at the job. The girl who rang me up was nice. But overall the experience was very very strange!

I go to short hills, nj for most of my designer purchases. The Hermes at Short Hills is where I purchased my first evelyene. I am wondering if anyone got offered a Birkin or Kelly at this store? Just want to know if I should start a SA relationship with one at this location or should I venture out to the city for better luck. Any advice would be helpful.

I love the SH store. I received an offer for a combo I didn't request, so they do happen. In my experience, the NYC stores do have more availability of hard to find pieces, especially handbags. But it can be more pleasant to shop SH.

That's nice to know. Because, honestly I do not want to go to NYC. I would rather shop at short hills. And yes, it is very pleasant there.

I shop exclusively with Sarah at Short Hills. She is beyond extraordinary. The best customer centric person relative to any other Hermes boutique, and I've visited many, both in the US and around the world.

Okay, great that is good to know. Thanks for the information. I have dealt with Joy and she was just awesome in helping me choose my evelyene GM color and size.

@werner and @aynrand you have been so helpful. I right now am saving for a birkin, but you know I definitely will be in and out of that store, and at the same time did not want to waste my time. Hoping by next year I can start to request for it and whenever it comes it comes at that point....but, I will have that money waiting for it. [emoji3] can't wait to share this experience when it happens.
