SH is where I found out that they can also see your purchases from H.com. I bought I few things that I thought would take too long if I requested them in the store and then heard about it in a phone call. GASP! I guess SA could have just been looking up my phone number. SIGH. So now I am waiting 5 months for something I could easily purchase online. :shrugs: Now that I have typed this out I realize that H has clearly erased my common sense.

wow, who is the SM there? George Orwell?

I was in H in bergen and they did try to look up my purchase history. Has anyone ever been able to buy a birkin from that store? They said they haven't seen them in a while and was wondering if that was true or if it was just something they said to customers they didn't know.

I dunno what they have in the back currently but Bergen seems to have lower stock than the other 4 stores in the tri-state area. I used to see Bs on the shelves there but that was yrs ago. Frankly, if i was in ur shoes, I would not count on either Bergen or SH if I wanted a B. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks! It's really close to me so I could stop by often and buy things, but I don't want to waste my purchases there if there isn't a chance of getting a B in the future with anyone there...

I agree. Both stores are futile. I've purchased a lot from Riverside in the past, and they never delivered. Always promised me one. I don't purchase from either store anymore.

I am sorry that they strung you along.
I saw thru their games and BS since I've been around the block so they FLAT OUT TOLD ME that I needed to be one of their Top 5 clients (which I obviously was not) in order to get any special bag.

Pinkchampagne- SH carries quite good inventories. This is the only store I go which is an hour from me. I've never been to other H stores though

I've been a client of Short Hills for almost a decade. They are extraordinary. Flawless service. They go out of their way to secure pieces not in their inventory. I think we all have unique experiences at different boutiques.

Seems like there are varying opinions here. I think it depends on the SA you get. I can agree until we found our current SA after our previous one left, it was not a good experience.

We have never had luck at any other store near where we live so we drive out to short hills. NYC Stores are generally good but to me, there are too many super wealthy clients to spread the few birkins and Kelly's they get. Short Hills seems to have much better inventory of a lot of items as one of posters pictures shows. They had so many CDC's in stock as well.

Also wanted to add the note in terms of what they can or can not see as we have shopped at so many h stores around the world. I can verify they can see your h.com purchases. I have told our SA who is great that if there is something online, we will usually buy it if she can not get it for us in a reasonable time. They can not see at the current time any purchases made internationally. We confirmed when we were in the Toronto store with an SA there that we use all the time. Lastly all US stores including franchises can see your purchases at any store in the U.S. And h.com. We confirmed this when the Long Island store looked up our history as we asked them to confirm what color h bracelets my wife had already.

It is a bit unnerving for them to know what you have bought in the past but not sure it is any different than Amazon knowing everything you have bought through them.

That's interesting. My "unique experience" when I asked if they had a bracelet or wallet not in stock was being told that I would find more stock in Madison Avenue.

I also shop here, in addition to Madison Avenue. My Short Hills SA has said this to me a few times, almost apologetically. I have never taken offense to it because my SA was just stating a fact.

Sorry you had a bad experience there! 🙁

Well, I didnt take offense the first time she said it. By the third time she said it, I started getting pissed. After she said it the fourth time, I just walked away. :p
