My wife and I shop at SCP! I don't think it's bad, but we haven't been shopping there long and it's our first experience with Hermes. We always have a great time there, and our SA is the nicest there is. I can't really say anything about meeting quotas because we've never really kept track of the spend:bag ratio beyond very very rough ballparks, but I can say my wife is very specific with her bag requests and she's gotten her requested bag every time: size, color, leather, hardware.

This is really good to hear! Do you usually go with her on her Hermes shopping trips? I wonder if having a partner come along sways the experience/treatment.

Oh noooooo...this is not what I want to hear. I’ve recently started working towards a quota bag with a scp SA. I feel like she was pretty upfront with me when she told me it’ll take about 6 months. I didn’t dare to ask her how much money I needed to spend because I would hope that’s not the whole point of hermes. I hope it’s just 6 months to show how much you love the brand.
Can you tell me more about the notoriety? Do you have friends who have waited and waited and spent and spent and still no offer?
I've known people who have tried to get bags and have never received an offer. I will say that I had a different SA before the one I have now that ended up giving me an offer a few months after meeting. I do also know that their store manager changed a couple years ago, so things may have changed since then? From what alittlyshy is saying, it seems like things have loosened up. I'm going to reach out to my SA and give him another wish list and see.

Honestly, I wouldn’t bother with scp. My mom recently (~2 weeks ago) dropped off a bag to spa and casually asked a few items (non quota bags) and one response in particular had be baffled. She was told a Picotin would take up to 2 years to get (maybe more) and the SA didn’t even want to take her name down on the “waiting list”. Meanwhile earlier this week (I’m based in NY), I saw 3 picotin’s on display LOL. Can you imagine what the response would be for a quota bag?! I don’t even want to know smh. Make the drive to Rodeo...more competition, but bigger store and more inventory. PM if you would like me to give you the SA’s name to avoid if anyone decides to build a relationship at scp. Highly do NOT recommend.
