Shopping at Beverly Hills, South Coast Plaza or San Diego

I’ve primarily shopped at Chanel and Celine, while lusting after Hermes from afar, but I finally want to start adding Hermes to my collection. I live in Orange County, but recall not reading very positive comments on here about the service at the SCP boutique, especially if my ultimate goal is to score a birkin. For those of you who live or shop in So Cal, have you found the service and inventory to be better at the San Diego, SCP, or Beverly Hills boutique? I know I’ll need to build a relationship with a SA before getting a birkin, but does one of these locations tend to be less snobby and/or play fewer games? I completely understand needing to have a purchase history and there are other Hermes items I’d like to buy, but I’m also not interested in spending $50K on a pieces I have no desire to own. Any advice on these particular boutiques or SA recommendations would be greatly appreciated !

Definitely recommend Beverly Hills over the other two - awesome inventory and SAs.

Thanks for sharing this thread. Unfortunately, I was not able to find an answer to my question.

Do you have personal experience you can lend me? Thx!
No, but you should ask your question there and you might be more likely to get a response. Though in general, these topics are often personal and varied. Buy what you love and be sincere with the SAs and eventually bag offers will come.

Hi ladies and gentlemen,
I am new to H. I am living in LA. Wanted buy a c mini size. Does anyone one have Sa recommend? Better in BH SCP or SD. I often visit Bay Area. If you do know one in Bay Area, please let me know! Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

I am currently in LA for the weekend, and was thinking of going to Hermes in BH on Monday.
Does anyone know what the spending quota is in BH to purchase a B/K/C? I am looking to purchase a Constance wallet and wondering if this would be considered sufficient to also ask for a quota bag.

Thanks in advance!

I was there a week ago with my friend from out of town who did not have purchase history at BH. She bought a cinehetic and tressage bag strap. She asked for mini c at check out and it was offered to her.

Went to BH today, no luck.
The SA's were all very very sweet and we had a wonderful conversation. I looked at a few nice pieces and my SO brought up my desire to get a Kelly or Birkin. I could have killed him!! However it initiated the conversation and they told me they only have larger sizes such as B35's and K35's. I am not sure what would have happened if I committed to something and then went to the register. Perhaps they would have offered me another size. But I wasn't willing to take that chance as I recently made a big purchase at my local store and my wallet needed a break. I would definitely go back and shop there, it was a pleasant experience.
