Does Fashionphile still give the option of an extra 10% on their consignment offer if you get Fashionphile credit rather than a payout? Thanks

Yes! It is either the payout plus 10% website credit or Neiman Marcus credit or just the flat rate as a direct deposit or check. On my last sale there, I got very lucky and found a bag that was equal to the 10% plus payout. Normally, I always go for the payout because I don't want to get stuck with an indefinite website credit.Does Fashionphile still give the option of an extra 10% on their consignment offer if you get Fashionphile credit rather than a payout? I have noticed over the years that submitting my item for a quote in person gave me a better quote. I initially started off online and if I didn't like their quote I would call to make an appt. When viewed in person I got a better quote for the same item. Since then I don't do online quotes anymore.Help! I’m new to selling, and I recently submitted my Hermès mini Lindy (special order with horseshoe 🙂) for a quote. The quote seemed decent, but I’m wondering if it makes more sense to go into a flagship store (NYC) and try to negotiate? Does anyone have any experience with it? For reference they’re offering $8.5k for a bag I consistently see on their site for 10-11k. Doesn’t seem insane to me but I have no benchmarks!
Can we make this happen??? 🤣Gosh I wish all that want to sell at Fashionphile can all meet in the corner of their parking lot and buy from each other! Hahaha! We will pay more then FP but we will still get a deal. It's a win win for EVERYONE....EXCEPT FP. LOL
That might be more true when the appraisers are actually present for the appointmentI have noticed over the years that submitting my item for a quote in person gave me a better quote. Rebag also offered me much more but their reviews are so dismal. I hear they often switch the price to lower after they receive the bag and the timeline to get paid is lengthy. That might be more true when the appraisers are actually present for the appointment
A Fashionphile opened up near me so I decided to give them a try last month. Turns out that they were located in a coworking space, and the only employee just photographed items and uploaded pictures to appraisers in another state, and then shipped them off. It was more of a drop off spot than a selling spot, if that makes sense.
My offers were significantly less than what Rebag offered for the same bag. Almost tempted to see if they’d do better on the same item if I submitted from home.
Yes I read and saw bad reviews on youtube as well.Rebag also offered me much more but their reviews are so dismal. I hear they often switch the price to lower after they receive the bag and the timeline to get paid is lengthy.
I know not all Fashionphile locations have buyers. Some locations just sell. I was told from a buyer a few years back at their Carlsbad flagship location that they themselves will look over the bag (or item) and then submit pics of your bag to ****************** as you wait for your quote. I was also told by another buyer that they put bags thru a xray so they can see what is inside the bag as well. That helps them weed out counterfeit bags. It was nice to chit chat with the buyers. Now you are not greeted directly with the buyers. It's a hit or miss with how much you are offered at FP. Their quote is based off of the last price that item sold, how long it took and how many are on their site currently, along with the condition. I've noticed at times they will have a few of the same exact item listed, however the most recent item will start off in the listing cheaper then the ones listed prior, yet the condition is the same. My guess is the person prior probably got a better quote as it was listed higher to begin with. That might be more true when the appraisers are actually present for the appointment

I sold my rolex at the carlsbad location. I went there when the watch appraiser was there. thought I would meet with him/her but did not. employee took the watch to a back area for the appraiser to see. I waited quite a while - about 45 minutes. they offered me the same amount as they had offered when I sent pics a month or two earlier. a manager came out to present the offer. I tried to negotiate but she said no. I accepted the offer. It was substantially higher than the two offers I got from watch dealers.I know not all Fashionphile locations have buyers. Oh ok. Yes looks like it's not always a guarantee an in person quote will be more. Perhaps they really low balled me to begin with.I sold my rolex at the carlsbad location. Oh wow, they gave you a really good quote! I just received their offer for my bolide 31 in Rose Sakura (year 2021), it was $2500 😭 I would rather keep it in that case..Help! bolide 31 is not a highly thought after bag. Mini Lindy used to be much popular, now it is slowing down too. Hermes is a tricky brand to buy and sell.Oh wow, they gave you a really good quote!
