I don't miss them.Atrocious behavior towards a loyal customer. Plainly put: they suck! Sorry muchy![]()
I agree. I have noticed that the condition doesn't ALWAYS match up to what the condition really is. I remember the times that they were more conservative on the condition, marking it at a lower level and when you received the item it was near excellent or at excellent. Those days I trusted if something was marked excellent, it REALLY was. Now they are more liberal with ranking the condition of items and they dont always show the flaws therefore I've been disappointed at times with what I received and due to the real condition (sometimes lower) I felt I over paid.Fashionphile is trash since expansion. Greed and big business ruining them with too much overhead costs they may have opened too many stores they can’t keep control of their inventory and except handbags that are terrible condition and still mark it with high prices then use mark downs like they are JCPenney which devalues their items. They used to be excellent and now loyal customers are being thrown aside for what seems like “mass” inventory. When they were local and small it used to be a gem! Over saturation of product may be a culprit but they sell bags with ruined corners no one wants to buy those so they should adjust the price more drastically on those items and be transparent.
I just sent them a backpack that was a buyback that I purchased through them. Just got an email saying that it would have to go through authentication and it could take up to 10 days. Seriously, I purchased it from them! Not what I have been used to with Fashionphile which has turned items around and issued payments quickly. Very disappointing.I have sold several bags to Fashionphile in the past with no issues. It has been a while. I recently shipped a 22 bag to them. The shipping label had the bag go to NY instead of CA as it always had in the past.
The bag was received by Fashionphile on 8/12 and has still not been approved for payment. Usually, they’re approved in a day or two. I did receive an email stating approval would take a couple days, and that certain Hermes items could take up to 10 days.
This is not my normal experience with them. Has it been the same with anyone else lately?
Thanks in advance.
