True. Well said. You seem not to love it, even not to like it. So I would sell it. The memorys regarding your Honeymoon are in your heart, not in your purse. Did you consider to sell it for a caviar m/l with gold hw? It sound like you would like it much more. You would still have a classic in your collection, but it sounds you would like it way more than your curent bag.
I agree, purse is just a purse, only a material thing in the end.I would sell if you can get what you paid for it or at least close (I would think so being a classic in new condition, maybe you can even get more than you paid). You don't care for the hardware color, the strap drop, or the type of leather and you don't wear this bag. I'm not that sentimental when it comes to material things though. If you do come back around to loving Chanel in the future, get the bag you really want. I think it's just a good lesson to not settle and always wait for what you really want.
+1I'm in the sell camp. I'm also not really sentimental.
You have the memories and I'm sure a lovely marriage, the bag doesn't represent it - the love you share is evidence enough.
I agree with those ladies' best advice and wise comments.
OP @keekee Congrats on your decision of selling ( and getting new bag you'd love ) I went through exact similar dilemma and experienced once and I promise you, It will surely bring you a joy when you get the new one you really love and no regret at all when actually start to use the new oneended up selling! and honestly don't regret it!
