Seller: Linda's Stuff discussion..

I too have purchased quite a few items from her, and have *knock wood* had no problems. All of the items came as described, but then I scrutinize the photos and sometimes while she does not say there are issues, there are if you look closely at the photos. Most of the stuff I have purchased has been Piazza Sempione items NWT.

I remember once I saw a bag I liked on ebay she was selling. Right at the start of the auction I asked for a couple of pictures because the bag looked like it had the signs of some wear but I got no response until about 24hrs before the end saying "no extra pictures" but please bid.

I didn't bid and another TPFer won the bag, when she got the bag it was in terrible condition I remember seeing her pictures she posted and she had to return it.
Linda has some great items, but that experience put me off.
I think for you the best option is to open a snad fingers crossed you get this sorted out:)

I get a page that says "Install the Negs Search plugin" or "User ID invalid" or " Please check the User ID and try again." That's what I mean by not being able to figure Toolhaus out. :confused1:

It's never asked me that.....put your own ebay ID in first, and see what happens. See if that works for you.

Sometimes I see interesting items but many of them are in horrible condition and they don't mention each flaws. So I don't bother bidding on. Also they seem to be a bit disorganized due to their volume.

OP, hope they contact you in timely manner.

Jayne, I don't know about plugin. it never asked me. Did you enter the exact ID? for example, "Linda's stuff" is "linda*s***stuff"
You're right. Thank you!

This seller is specially protected and coddled by Ebay - she's in the same seller group that Fashionphile is in and has a special selling manager that has tried to protect that account.

She has listed tons of fakes. Ebay will remove them, but not suspend the account. Some of us have had detailed emails from Ebay telling us that they won't suspend her because of the volume of listings.

I was also told by someone at Ebay after filing a dispute against this seller that they have people running the business that have been told to pay to authenticate items and they are supposed to be doing that now.

I have ordered two items. One was an LV keepall that was never sent. After 3 weeks of trying to reach someone, they finally sent me a tracking number and I got a scarf instead. Ebay/Pay Pal refunded and I got what seemed like a form apologize that basically said "**** happens".

My second item was filthy, had runs and was disgusting (it was a Chanel blouse). I filed a dispute, they never answered and I got my money back. I sent the blouse to Pay Pal and they signed for it. I never heard another word.

I do NOT recommend this seller at all. EVER.

The bag that I bought said EXCELLENT condition... long story short there were CIGARETTE BURNS on the outside of the bag. Excellent huh?

I have never had that problem. This is the link I use:

http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs

and it asks for the ebay id. I usually just copy and paste from ebay to make sure I get it right, click "received by" and voila. Maybe you have some extra protection on your computer that is blocking access to that site :shrugs:

I'm glad that I never bought from her!

She had several items I wanted, but I thought the shipping is pretty expensive (international). Someone I know bought something from her and although she paid $27 for shipping it took several weeks to arrive.

Also I find her prices too expensive for some items. A Nanette Lepore top in used condition for $54, then add $27 shipping? No, when there's a listing of the same top, different seller, excellent condition, starting at $14, with $10 shipping.

I asked if the $27 is because there is tracking and insurance and if there's the possibility to get cheaper shipping. After 5 days the answer was:
No. Shipping prices are non negotiable.

It's pretty hard for many people to answer more than one question I guess.

I just got a reply back from Linda's Stuff, the said their shippers accidentally pulled the wrong item, and will be sending the right item. They didn't even ask me to send the random item back... so I replied to their message asking what I do with the wrong item and if they'd reimburse my shipping fee after I send the item back. They said they would. Hmmm, this customer service isn't bad after all... I guess I was just worried they shipped my item to someone else--thus leaving it to take FOREVER to get it back. But it seems like they're working to solve the problem quickly.

I hope for you! But I would wait until you get what you paid for. I hope you won't get a third item, 'cause they accidentally pulled the wrong again...
I read her fb on toolhouse and I think they just have a looooot to do as they sell so many items. There must be several people behind it and of course there are going to be mistakes, but if they list something as excellent and it has cigarette burns on it... nope, that is no service at all.

would think that given the opportunity Linda would make good on

the transaction.. when people are given a chance, it's amaZing what

they can and will do....:yahoo:

Wow, considering she is a lawyer, she should not be misrepresenting items, and being so bad with customer service. So much for being a professional. I have wanted to bid on her items in the past as well, but have been weary due to the negative comments I have seen about customer service and items' condition. Thank goodness for tpf!
