Don't wait around too long for that refund. You opened a SNAD case right? The minute tracking shows the bag received back at the seller's location eBay can issue a refund. I'd give the seller a day or two, but bottom line they had time to relist they have time to refund.

I got an email from ebay saying the seller received my item and I'd have a refund by Feb 12 - about four days after they got it and two days from now. That's fine.
I don't think I actually opened a case. Their refund policy just gives you a place to say why you're returning the item and I said dimensions were wrong. But as I recall you could return it for any reason.

My item arrived earlier this week and I was expecting the worst... but was pleasantly surprised by the condition and the packaging was good! It was a smaller item and was just in a polybag-type mailer, but it was inside a cloth "Linda's Stuff" dustbag which was wrapped in tissue, so it was protected.
It probably helped to have lowered expectations and the comfort of knowing I wouldn't get pushback if I needed to return it
