And did you receive your refund in a "timely manner' for the bag you returned?
With all respect, you seem to be taking my advice to the person asking questions very personally. I'm simply saying (as I would with any seller) that if communication is poor before the sale I would expect the same after.

In response to your question, I believe I had to open an eBay claim. But it was several years ago so I'm not sure. I'll have to look through my old posts and see if I put more details on the board.

Edit: I had to file SNAD. I didn't get responses to emails or phone calls. In another thread a buyer sent back an item without a claim and after 10 days there was no response or refund so they had to file a claim to get their money.

This thread that you are referencing is from Jan 2010... That's over 8 1/2 years ago
The thread was started Jan 4th & closed Jan 7th by Swanky as it ran its course.
An explanation was offered in post #157 by Linda herself..
Yes, i read every word of the thread and noted the dates. I found it while hunting for any thread I posted in about my experience with Linda's stuff. What I learned from the older thread was that 8 years ago they were occasionally listing fakes, incompletely describing items, not replying to emails and phone messages, and not providing timely refunds, exactly as they did with me several years ago. And you were in that thread, 8 years ago, defending them. Which is your perogative, of course.

I believe Linda's just got too big too fast and has trouble keeping up with its customer demand. I personally will not buy from them, but to each his own.

ITA with you, @caannie!

Although the issues referred to were from years ago, it's odd to defend someone still hasn't figured out (in over 8 years!) how to improve so the mistakes don't still happen! Clearly, nothing has changed.

I've purchased two or three times from Linda's Stuff on ebay. Each time I've asked for more photos of a specific aspect of the item. Each time I've received an email stating something like: due to the extent of their business it is impossible to take more photos of any item. Then their return policy is mentioned (as if the inconvenience of buying something that is not what you want is nothing important) I would imagine you will get an answer similar to that sometime today.

I actually picked up my last purchase as Linda's headquarters is about 5 miles from my home. There is a LOT of stuff there and I can't imagine how they keep track of it all.

Good luck, OP.

I've never gotten the additional photos I've requested on any listing. Sometimes, and I mean SOMETIMES, I will get additional information, but only after I've specified that I'm a long term customer that has also used them to consign my own stuff. Communication before a purchase is very hit or miss with them, which is frustrating.

Having said that, I did have to return something a few months ago, as the sizing in the listing was off by a lot. I think the previous owner had shrunk the item when laundering it. The description stated the measurements that are found in retail store listings, not from the actual item. The return was a breeze. I called Linda first, and she told me to just return via eBay. I got the prepaid return shipping label sent to me, and was credited within a couple of days of their receiving the item back. Overall, I'm still shopping from her, and haven't had any issues that would hold me back. YMMV

Linda's Closet used to be a good place and I've bought some wonderful, authentic shoes from them. But I've watched over the years them slowly go downhill and now I will not purchase a thing from them. I've also noticed they've resulted in only posting small photos that cannot be zoomed in on and it's impossible to see all flaws. After posting huge, clear photos that you can zoom in on, why would they change? I believe they know why they changed. I consider them no longer a reputable seller. Kinda sad, actually.

I just made my first purchase from them. I don't have the item yet. I did ask a question and did get a reply that they cannot answer my question, which isn't surprising since they aren't the original owner and my question was on year produced.
As far as condition, I decided that since it was priced well and they have tens of thousands of positive FB, I'd go ahead and purchase - hoping it is as described - basically no visible flaws or damage. Fingers crossed.

Good luck! I find their pictures aren't the best. I bought one bag from them. It was better than described and I was very happy with the purchase.

thanks
I agree pics weren't great. I was mostly relying on description and it was priced well. And I've had good experience with big power sellers. I might have waited for more info but it was a sunday and I had my mind made up I wanted to grab the item. I was in OCD mode :)
