High volume sellers on ebay all have the same issue, I do myself. As someone with 1000 plus items featured daily on average and an employee bases of 5 there are times where out of no where we see an increase of sales by 10% or greater.

With 3 listers and 2 shippers, an influx in sales can cause delays as I being the 6th person now have to break away from my role as customer service rep and help ship, hence I can't answer emails and questions.

Usually we run smoothly but we have our kinks and I would assume other high volume sellers are the same.

I just had a GREAT customer service experience with Linda's Stuff.

I bought a used Chanel quilted bag, plain but big (briefcase size). The photos looked okay and the description said "excellent." They contacted me quickly, shipped fast with decent packing but the bag was more worn than the description said.

I sent it back with the including return slip and VERY promptly received a refund not only of the purchase price but of the original shipping cost!

The whole thing could not have been easier. Yes, the description was not correct, but when I looked at the photos from my work desktop/larger monitor after the bag arrived, I could see that they did show some wear. And no harm, no foul - the bag was verging on being a keeper, and they refunded my money very quickly.

I would buy from them again but would look at the photos on the biggest monitor possible and would disregard the description.

While I get where you are coming from, still, no excuse. If you want to sell and continue to sell, then customer service should be number one priority. If you cannot handle the volume, maybe you should list less items and provide stellar service?

I purchased a set of wall sconces from her a long time ago, and to this day, it was my greatest ebay find ever. 2 Terzani 'Louvre' sconces for under $600.00! (They normally retail for over $1,200 a piece) Apparently they came directly from her client's house, and she never even saw them, but I still love them and am happy she offered them at such a steal. I remember only great customer service when I had many questions about shipping them, but this was a while ago...

I just bought a handbag from her, fast shipping. I didnt even have to pay customs charge which was fantastic!
But the bag I received has some dirty white marks on the vinyl-they're not easy to get rid of and because its black it shows!
Its one of my HG so I cant give it back..............ill just keep cleaning. Why not just be honest! I dont mind if Im told beforehand, just dont miss it out on the description and hope that I wont notice! cos I will.

It happens alot with private sellers, but it should not happen with a so-called business.

I think im 50/50 so far with linda's stuff

totally agree with archygirl on this one. at some point, volume will start to decline and you'll end up with less anyway.

See, to me this is not great customer service. The reason being, the bag was more worn that described. In fact, that describes Linda's Stuff exactly. Their descriptions of their items for sale are usually waaay too generous. Their idea of "excellent" is my idea of "well used."

I also had an experience with Linda's Stuff. I bought an Hermes bag that arrived thrown in a box and folded with no packing material, and was in much worse shape that described. I got a full refund, but it was because I filed a Paypal claim after two days of no responses to me emails. I'm glad I got a refund, but I shouldn't have had to send the bag back in the first place... it should have been described correctly and packed well. It's the least I expect for several thousand dollars!

There is someone that used to post to the Ebay boards that has compiled a list of counterfeits listed by Lindas*stuff and copies of auctions and sent it to law enforcement in her area.

It's not just bad customer service (Linda doesn't really run the business according to a TSAM at Ebay) ... it's deceptive auctions that don't accurately describe the items, non response to customers, poor packing, overcharging on postage and counterfeits.

And Ebay coddles them and despite the tons of violations and complaints lets them continue to sell. I just don't get it.

I bought a Christian Dior dress from them once, at a great price, shipping was good, condition is fairly good.

The only thing was that it was advertised as a size 4 and gave my measurements, however when it arrived it was HUGE.

I was really puzzled about it til I tried to measure it myself and realised that if someone was in a hurry they might have made a mistake by only measuring the front (the back is more low cut and more give, which puts the measurements right out).

Still, it's a stunning dress and indeed still sitting upstairs in my closet until I get it to the tailors.
